苏宣作为晚明印坛重要人物，追随者众多，以纯正的秦汉风貌，影响晚明至清初印坛。明亡后，苏宣印风传入日本，经高芙蓉推崇，掀起日本篆刻界复古之风。苏宣的学印道路和印学理念对后来者有十分重要的借鉴意义，他从六书出发，以坚实的摹古、仿古能力再现“汉官威仪”。此外，苏宣博采《汗简》《历代钟鼎彝器款识法帖》等著作中的传抄古文入印，以汉印手段加以印化，于春秋战国时期的古玺印风外别开生面，可谓入古出新的典范。通过对苏宣《苏氏印略》自序以及师友序言等文献梳理，苏宣集才华与豪情的形象跃然纸上，其学印历程的转变、印学理念的精思也都一一浮现。苏宣传世作品甚多，以万历十五年自辑《苏氏印略》四册最为珍贵，此印谱是一段时期的集作，虽不能得见苏宣印风全貌，已然为探寻苏宣多变印风的渊源及艺术效果提供了充足而珍贵的资料。

Although this is a collection of works for a period of time, the full picture of Su Xuan's printing style cannot be seen, and it has already provided sufficient information to explore the origin and artistic effect of Su Xuan's varied printing style.
