随着IT行业的快速发展，越来越多的英语IT新词汇进入中国，这对译者的翻译速度提出了更高的要求。与此同时，网络新闻作为一种新的新闻载体，其诸多新特征也对IT术语翻译提出了新要求。在此情况下，零翻译策略的优势逐步显现。 本文首先对有关零翻译与科技术语的以往研究做了分析和总结。零翻译这一概念由邱懋如教授在2001年提出，但目前关于这一概念的定义尚无定论，且有学者提出零翻译即不译，否定其翻译策略的性质。作者通过分析已有研究确立了本研究中“零翻译”的确切内涵，并论证了其作为一种翻译策略的合理性。其次，作者探讨了网络新闻中IT术语的特征及翻译要求。基于上述分析，分析了零翻译科技术语的优势及零翻译策略过度使用所带来的问题，并就此提出了解决建议。在此前提下，作者从自己在网易科技频道做兼职翻译的译稿中选取了36篇，对其中的零翻译术语做了分析，归纳出网络新闻IT术语中常见的零翻译术语类型和形式。在此基础上，作者探讨了零翻译策略在网络新闻IT术语翻译领域的应用所呈现出的三种趋势。最后，作者分析指出了进一步研究的可能。

As the IT industry develops more and more rapidly, a vast number of new English IT terms come into Chinese, which requires the translators to raise their translating speed. At the same time, the internet has brought some new features into news, which highlights zero translation’s advantage as a translation strategy. This thesis first analyzes and summarizes the past researches on zero translation and technical terms translation. Zero translation is a new concept put forward by Qiu Maoru in 2001, but currently there is no universally accepted definition for it. Some scholars equal it with non-translation instead of regarding it as a translation strategy. Through analyze the previous studies, the author tempts to define the “zero translation” discussed in this thesis and defends it as a translation strategy. Next, the author summarizes the features of IT terms and online news, on the basis of which, the author states the advantage of zero-translated IT terms in online news and the problems caused by overuse of zero translation. The author also gives suggestions for the problems. Then, the author selects 36 pieces of online news on Netease technology channel, which are the translation work of the author. The author summarizes the types and forms of zero-translated IT terms in the selected texts and explains the three general trends in this area. At last, the author gives some suggestions for the further studies in this area.
