The research of the daily reality of Riku Nyo’s Japanesa poems written in Chinese——Starting from “Jishi” poems and Feelings of the Four Seasons at the Cui E Villa

The poems of Riku Nyo are based on daily life and have shown great characteristic of everyday life, which make them quite different from the poems of Classical Prose and Vesion School. This essay selected such kind of Ji Shi and Ji Mu poems of Riku Nyo to make specific analysis, especially focused on the circle poems Feelings of the Four Seasons at the Cuo E Villa: 30 Poems. The poems of Riku Nyo have shown the emphasis on reality, which to some degree is influenced by the drawing and used realistic method of the sketch. The sketchs which painted the life and nature became popular in Japan during the time when Riku Nyo lived in Kyoto. Many painters had be in contact with Riku Nyo, including Chan master Wei Ming who was good at drawing and the famous painter Yuanshan Yingju. Many of Riku Nyo’s poems are titled with “Ji Shi” and “Ji Mu”. Comparing these poems to the poems of Pingan Era and Riku Nyo’s contemporary poets’ Chinese poems, Riku Nyo’s poems had get rid of the problems of being hollow and general when he pictored the daily life he had seen by elaborately selecting and using of the verbs, adjectives and nouns. The poems are so realistic that some scenes in them at that time can even be vividly represented refering to the paints.Feelings of the Four Seasons at the Cuo E Villa: 30 Poems are the circle poems that Riku Nyo made under the influence of Fan Chengda. The poems have shown various aspects of Riku Nyo’s life when he lived in Cuo E, especially the description of his diet. The poems about pine mushroom and brasenia schreberi showed Riku Nyo’s characteristic to apllying the daily life into his poems. Riku Nyo has a lot of poems about pine mushroom, which was rare at that time. Pine mushroom was Japanese’s love for a long time and was the traditional material of waka and haiku. But to Riku Nyo, pine mushroom was not only food, but also the symbol of hometown. Riku Nyo’s poems invovled the aspects of pine mushroom’s growth, sale, picking up and eating. They were different from Japanese traditional poems and Chinese poems, which Riku Nyo used to represent the customs of Japan. The brasenia schreberi was also the materials of Japanese waka. In China the Jin Shu altered the what was said in Shi Shuo Xin Yu, and made the brasenia schreberi the symbol of nostalgia as well as weever. The brasenia schreberi in Riku Nyo’s poems did not have the characteristic of Japanese waka’s traditional esthetic appreciation. It also had shown that how Chinese poems had expanded their boundaries of writing materials and were used to represent poets’ daily life during the period of Chinese poems’s japanization.
