(The Quality of Relationship Index,QRI)和亲密关系历程量表-修订版(Experience in Close Relationships.

Adult attachment refers to the emotional connection that an individual has with significant others in adulthood. This connection enables the individual to form a specific internal working model of attachment, which affects the individual’s external emotions or behaviors in the relationship. When the attachment patterns of both partners are the same. When they are secure, both parties will have more courage and ability to provide support for their partners to resolve conflicts between partners. They can also experience security and comfort in the relationship and maintain emotional stability. However, if the partner is in an insecure attachment mode However, both partners are more likely to adopt negative interaction patterns to deal with conflicts, and are prone to separation anxiety, which leads to bad emotional experiences of vulnerability, danger, and helplessness, which in turn lowers both parties’ evaluations of the quality of intimacy. In this study, Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy) was used to intervene for couples with insecure attachment styles. An evaluation was conducted to initially explore the intervention effect of emotionally focused couple therapy on insecure attachment style couples.

The subjects of this study are heterosexual couples, the male is 26 years old, working on the Internet, and the female is 27 years old, engaged in the scientific research industry. (Experience in Close Relationships. Revised, ECR-R) evaluates the attachment style and intimacy satisfaction of partner visits, and finally determines that the female partner's attachment anxiety score is 5.8, and the attachment avoidance score is 4.4, which is an insecure attachment style. And the intimate relationship satisfaction score is 3.5, which is lower than the average level. The man's attachment style test results are secure, and the man's intimacy satisfaction score is 4.8, which is around the average level. This couple is suitable as a research object. The study provided the couple with 6 counseling sessions and a return visit four weeks after the session. The consultation is divided into three stages. Psychoeducation about attachment and some interventions in Emotion Focused Therapy are used, such as live drills, breaking negative interaction patterns, and direct choreography of interactions and responses.

The final intervention effect is evaluated from three perspectives: the achievement of the counseling goal, the comparison of the results of the scale before and after the test, and the comparison of the counselor's observation. After evaluation, the counseling goals were all achieved, and the post-scale test showed that the woman’s attachment anxiety level dropped to 1.9, 67% lower than the pre-test, and the avoidance dimension score dropped to 1.6, which was 64% lower than the pre-test. The test was 7 points, 100% higher than the pre-test. The man's attachment style did not change much before and after the test, and he still maintained a secure attachment. The post-test of intimacy satisfaction was 5.8, which was 21% higher than the pre-test. The counselor's observation record showed that , the physical contact between the partners increases, the woman's mood is more stable during the consultation, and she can adopt a more effective communication method to deal with the conflict.

Therefore, this study preliminarily proves that in this case, intervening in the partner's insecure attachment style object can effectively improve the intimate relationship satisfaction of both partners.
