本文立足于语义和语音的接口，借助实验语音学的研究方法，描写了现代汉语“V什么N”结构表示疑问意义和否定意义时的不同韵律特征，同时探究了影响该结构意义感知的决定性因素。研究表明，相较于疑问意义，“V什么N”结构在表示否定意义时，“什么”的词调域大幅扩展，“V”和“什么”的调域覆盖全句调域；“V”的时长大幅增加，“N”的时长大幅缩减；“什么”的音强明显提高。在所有韵律特征中，音高的变化是决定该结构意义感知的关键因素，音长和音强的变化则是伴随性特征。

Based on the interface between semantics and phonetics, using the methods of experimental phonetics, this study depicts the different prosodic features of the construction "V 什么 N" when denoting the question and the negation, and explores the determinants of the perceived meaning of the construction. The study shows that, in the negative meaning, compared to the questioning meaning, "什么" has a wider pitch range, and the pitch range of "V" and "什么" covers the entire pitch range of the sentence; the duration of "V" increases significantly, and the duration of "N" decreases significantly; the intensity of "什么" is significantly higher. Among all the prosodic features, the variation of pitch is the key factor determining the perceived meaning of the construction, while the variation of duration and intensity is concomitant features.
