论文分析了《论语义疏》中才性观念与德性观念的内涵及它们之间的关系,且基于文本讨论了《论语义疏》中个体成就德性的方式及德性发展的局限。论文认为,《论语义疏》中的才性观念里包含着承认和重视个体特质的成分,既有助于“因材施教”,又有助于个人“因其所资而立业”;但皇侃依据《论语》文本的特征而强调成就德性的重要性这一点,又让他必须尝试着将承认、尊重偏材之性的才性观念与培养德性的需求融合起来,借助天纵之圣人的概念来构建一种利于实施教化和培养德性的由礼仪来规范的社会秩序。《论语义疏》试图将儒家传统中强调德性培养的理念包含于气性-才性的框架之中,既容许各自不同的个体达成一定的道德境界,又承认并容许个体依据个体特质立“志”来成就个性化的事业,从而建构起一种以特殊性包含普遍性的、有差等的儒家伦理学。然而,“才性”这个概念本身有严重的弊端,在“才性”的限制下,个体始终无法在精神境界上的超越自我,无法超越自身分限以成就德性,至多只能在德行这个方面对性分或性品的限制有所突破。才性的这种弊端后来为理学中“气质之性”说所纠正,但“气质之性”说又在某种程度上丧失了《论语义疏》中为个体特质留下发展空间的优点。因此,《论语义疏》试图保留才性的框架并对才性和德性进行调和的方式虽有缺陷,却仍有独特性和借鉴意义。
外文摘要:
The paper analyzes the meaning of the idea of talent and nature and the idea of virtue in lun yu yi shu , try to clarifies their relationship, and dicusses the road for an individual to get virtue and the limitation which is put on them by huang kan in morality field. The paper believe that the idea of talent and nature in lun yu yi shu include something that admits and emphasizes the importance of individual character,which can help begin individualized quality education as well as help individual choose their way to sucuess based on their characters. But huang kan also have to emphasizes the importance of virtue because the text he interpret is the analects, so he have to make an attempt to make a balance between talent and nature and the need for building virtue, and try to construct a world under ritual system building by sage which is suited for educating and building virtues. lun yu yi shu try to put the need for building virtue into the construction of temperament-talent and nature, thus he can make room for individual starting their personalized career,while allow people to achieve a certain moral state to some degree. In this way, he can build a hierarchical ethics System which include characteristic into generality. However ,the idea of talent and nature cannot allow individual break their limitation set up by their nature and achieve higher moral state, only can allow them improve their behaviors. neo-Confucianism try to change this situation and use their idea of temperament, but their idea cannot give individual enough liberty to develop their personality. Thus, lun yu yi shu still has its own siginificance today.
