我国的羌族是一个历史悠久、拥有着数千年文化遗产的古老民族。羌族所生活的地理环境、生产生活方式、宗教信仰和民族习俗等都直接影响着羌族舞蹈发展。舞蹈是羌族人民一种感情的寄托和表达方式，从舞蹈中，能使我们看到羌族独有的审美观念和民族文化。原始时期以狩猎、畜牧为生的古羌人以丰满、肥壮为美，而从今天流行在羌区的民间舞蹈之风格特点看，羌族舞蹈既具有端庄柔美的典雅特色，又不失游牧民族洒脱粗犷的风格，以及羌族舞蹈的胯部动作带动身体变化的动律仍保持了羌民族妩媚中不失豪放、粗犷的性格及原始的审美意识。

As everyone knows,China is a Multi-nationality country with 56 nationalities. Every single one has its particular histroy, culture and customs. Minority Qiang is an old nationality with thousands of histroy and culture remains and people regard dance as a important way to express their feelings. So we certaintly find their exclusive appreciation and culture from their dance, and their geographical enviorment ,living way, religion and custom also straightly impact on the dance. In primitive days, fat and strong were taken as beauty, for Minority Qiang lived by hunting and animal husbandary. With the development of times, the dance of Minority Qiang not only contains ease and roughness, also has dignified , soft and graceful characteristics. Especially, we also see their charming and uninhibited characteristics from the regularity of using hip to draw the whole body movement.
