过去学界对“京海之争”的研究，更多是以“京—海”二元对照的模式展开，这种研究思路实际上遮蔽了这场论争当中的一个重要角色——左翼文学阵营。本论文通过对“京海之争”原始材料的梳理，发现左翼文人不仅在这场论争中承担了“海派”方面的主要力量，而且左翼文人“褒海贬京”的立场也反映了左翼文学与京派、海派之间复杂的关系。这说明，“京海之争”从来都不是京与海的二元对峙，而是京派-海派-左翼的三元对话。不把左翼的角色考虑进来，我们就不能准确地把握“京海之争”的面貌、格局和焦点；同样，不把“京海之争”纳入左翼文学主体建构的视野里，就不能更加全面地把握左翼文学的本质特征。

因此，本论文以“京海之争”为切入点，探究左翼文人在这场论争当中的角色、立场和发挥的作用，以此重探左翼文学与京派、海派之间既交锋又互动的复杂关系。在此基础上本论文进一步提出左翼文学的发生和发展不仅是受到苏俄、日本、欧美的理论影响，也不仅是基于国内政治环境的变革与动荡，左翼的文学空间和文化场域更多是在与京派文化与海派文化的冲突调和下逐渐建构起来的，左翼文学作为一种外来的先锋文学理念，是在京海两大文化板块的冲撞当中，逐渐对接起了五四新文化内部生长的文化逻辑，从中国文学本土文化资源里攫取到了内在的生命力。

In the past, the study of "the battle between Beijing and the shanghai" was carried out in the dual contrast mode of "Beijing and the shanghai ". Through the analysis of the original materials of "the battle between Beijing and the sea", this paper finds that the left-wing literati not only bear the main power of "Shanghai school" in this debate, but also reflect the complex relationship between the left-wing literature, Beijing school and Shanghai school. This shows that the "battle between Beijing and the  shanghai " has never been a binary confrontation between Beijing and the shanghai, but a ternary dialogue between Beijing school, Shanghai school and the left wing. Without considering the role of the left wing, we can't accurately grasp the face, pattern and focus of the "battle between Beijing and the shanghai ". Similarly, we can't grasp the essential characteristics of the left wing literature more comprehensively without bringing the "battle between Beijing and the shanghai " into the perspective of the construction of the left wing literature subject.

Therefore, this paper takes "the battle between Beijing and the sea" as the starting point to explore the role, position and role of the left-wing scholars in this debate, so as to re explore the complex relationship between the left-wing literature and the Beijing school and the Shanghai school, which is both confrontation and interaction. On this basis, this paper further points out that the emergence and development of left-wing literature is not only influenced by the theories of Soviet Russia, Japan, Europe and the United States, but also based on the changes and turbulence of domestic political environment. The left-wing literature space and cultural field are more gradually constructed under the conflict and reconciliation with Beijing school culture and Shanghai school culture. Left-wing literature as a kind of foreign pioneer literature The idea is that in the collision of the two cultural plates in Beijing and Shanghai, it gradually connects the cultural logic of the internal growth of the May 4th New Culture and grabs the internal vitality from the local cultural resources of Chinese literature.
