中国三十年代是一个特殊的时期:中国电影的历史文化内涵、技术技巧因素和电影形态发生了整体的、根本的变化,最显著的特点就是产生出大量具有现实主义风格的影片,它们所确立的现实主义风格的诸种特点深刻地影响了其后几十年的中国电影。本文将具体分析论述中国三十年代电影现实主义风格的诸种表现。 中国三十年代现实主义风格影片的第一个特征是反映时代的题材内容。这些影片通过农民、妇女、城市下层贫民、知识分子的生活,多层面地透视现实,剖析人生,表达反帝反封建的时代主题,具有强烈的现实感和时代感。这些影片不仅表现劳动人民处于水深火热之中的痛苦生活,更有意识地表现人民团结起来反抗封建地主阶级、官僚买办资产阶级剥削压迫的斗争,表现群众抗日救亡的激情和行动。 中国三十年代现实主义风格影片的第二个特征是追求真实的艺术表现。三十年代进步的电影创作者都认识到电影反映现实,影响现实的重要作用,他们把电影现象放在整个社会环境中分析考察,努力从客观现实的角度把握时代精神。这种真实的、客观的创作观体现在电影的艺术表现方面,就是追求整体上“素朴的写真”的风格,追求人物形象、环境形象的自然纯朴的真实美。 中国三十年代现实主义风格影片的第三个特征是形成多样的表现手段。这些影片发展了戏剧化叙事方式,并积极探索蒙太奇、声音等新电影元素的表现能力,使蒙太奇从连接镜头的手段发展为电影思维的原则,使声音由技术因素上升为艺术元素。中国三十年代现实主义风格影片注重社会剖析,努力把社会剖析的原则贯穿于作品的冲突设置和人物塑造,力图使电影的冲突和人物能直接反映社会的阶级关系,注重对社会性、阶级性的揭示,因而具有鲜明的时代精神、理性精神。

外文摘要:

The 1930’s for Chinese film history was a very significant period,because a comprehensive and fundamental change took place in the historical and cultural connotation of technical factors and the forms of Chinese films. The most out distinct change during this period is the emergence of a large number of realistic films, which established various features of realism and had a profound influence on Chinese films for several decades thereafter.This paper will present a detailed analysis of various expressions of the realistic style of the Chinese films in 1930’s. The first characteristic of Chinese films during this period is the realistic feature and diversity of their themes. These films - by portraying the life of peasants,women,urban residents of low economic strata,as well as intellectuals——gave a multifaceted perspective of reality anda deeper understang of life.Furthermore,they expressed the epochal theme of anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism with strong sense of reality and of the era. These films not only showed the abysmal sufferings of the working class,but also showed their united struggles against the exploitation and oppression of the feudalist landlords、the bureaucrats and comprador bourgeoisie class. In addition,they also showed anti-Japanese sentiment and actions of ordinary people. The second feature is the objectivity and authenticity of their expression.Progressive film producers of the 30’s all realized how films can reflect and influence the society.They examined and analyzed the “film phenomena”in the context of the whole society,trying to grasp the spirit of the time from an objective and realistic point of view.This authentic and objective view can be found in the artistic expression of those films; this is thd pursuit of a “plain-authenticity”——style natural and authentic beauty of image of the characters and environment. The third feature is the creativeness diversity of their production methods. These films developed a theatrical way of narration,and actively explored the expressive capability of such new factors as montage and sound——developing montage from a way of linking scenes to a principle of film thinking and developing sound from a more technical factor to artistic factor. The realistic Chinese films from the 30’s placed an emphasis on social analysis and tried to interject the principle of social analysis in those films’by conflicting arrangements and character portrayals. In their efforts for the conflicts and characters of the films to reflect the classes in their relationship to society,the film producers also stressed importance to redifining a sense of society and class;the films of that period show a distinctive spirit of the people and sense of rationalism.
