The cheerleading is a sport full of enthusiasm and vitality, and has been favored by more and more college students in China. In order to explore the current situation of difficulty application in POM among college students in China, and provide references for difficulty arrangement in POM in the future, this paper analyzes the quantity, content, and completion of the difficulty routines in the final of the Student Youth Games POM by using literature review methods, video analysis method, comparative analysis method, and mathematical statistics, and draws the following conclusions: 1. There is a positive correlation between the number of difficulties and the final standings. In terms of difficulty selection, the focus is on twisting and jumping difficulties, with fewer combinations of different categories. 2. In terms of twisting difficulties, the most commonly used are the leg-sucking turning and the Allah C-bar. Twisting difficulties are influenced by the number of revolutions and the complex twisting forms, which make them somewhat unstable. 3. In terms of jumping difficulties, the selection of continuous difficulties is singular, while the selection of single and traveling difficulties is relatively diverse. 4. In terms of balance and flexibility difficulties, most are completed in a non-group format. 5. In terms of tumbling difficulties, there is a significant gap between teams in terms of difficulty details, and there is also a certain gap within the same team; even if a group completion is chosen, it does not necessarily improve the overall level of the routine. |
