大学生是我们国家和民族的希望，是中国社会未来的骨干及中坚力量。可是，近年来大学生群体中漠视生命、否定生命的事件却频繁发生，需要教育工作者加以关注并适当引导。目前大学生群体自身普遍缺乏正确的生命价值观，生命责任感不强、幸福感不足，是引发一系列生命危机问题的根本原因。大学生群体在其成长过程中受时代和自身特点的影响产生了关于生命价值认知与实践上的一系列问题，表现为对生命意义的认识模糊，生命的信仰和理想缺失，人生责任感缺乏，人生幸福感偏低等方面。要真正彻底地解决这些问题就需要我们努力开展并完善大学生的生命价值观教育工作。大学生生命价值观教育是针对大学生这一特殊群体，从我国大学生生命价值观现状中存在的问题出发，针对这些问题所进行的以探询生命意义、确立生命信仰、明确人生理想、承担生命责任、创造生命幸福为主要内容，遵循一定的教育原则，运用一定的教育方法，不断优化外部教育环境，最终实现走进现实生活，帮助学生认知和感悟生命价值、实践和创造生命价值、提升和超越生命价值等教育目标的一系列教育实践活动的总和。进行大学生生命价值观教育的理论研究和实践工作，在理论上有助于思想政治教育理论研究的思维更加关注“人的生命”这一命题；有助于推动思想政治教育学科的科学发展，提高思想政治教育的实效性、针对性和时代性；有助于我们理论研究领域由以往的“生命教育”向“生命价值观教育”的研究视角的转换。在实践上则有助于和谐校园乃至和谐社会的构建；有助于促进学生人格的完善，实现其“自由而全面的发展”；有助于思想政治教育者观念的更新和素质的提升。当前，我国大学生生命价值观教育还处于起步阶段，需要我们从厘清生命价值观教育的相关理论问题出发，分析当前大学生生命价值观教育面临的问题和挑战，得出今后我国大学生生命价值观教育发展的具体途径和对策。这其中尤其需要从完善教育内容、丰富教育方法和优化教育环境等三个方面，尝试探索出一条适应我国大学生生命价值观教育理论和实践发展的有效路径。

College students are the hope of the nation, they are also the backbone of the society in the future. But in recent years, college students’disregarding the lives events occur frequently, it requires educators to pay attention to it and properly guide it. That the students usually lack of the correct life values is the fundamental reason for the life-crisis.College students, in the process of their growth, because of the social development and the impact on their own characteristics, usually have a series of questions about the perception of the life’s value and practice. To solve these problems, we need to develop and perfect the education for college students’ life values. College students’ life values education is mainly aimed at the group of college students..It includes inquiring about the meaning of life , establishing the belief in life , making clear ideal of life, taking life responsibilities, creating a life of happiness and so on. It always follows certain education principles and uses certain education methods to help college students to understand life’s value, practice life’s value and transcend life’s value. College students’ life values education is good for the theoretical study of the ideological and political education paying attention to “human life”. It is good for driving the scientific developments of the ideological and political education and improving the effectiveness and pertinence. It is also good for conversion of our angle of theory research. In practice, it helps us to establish a harmonious campus even a harmonious society, to improve the students’ personality, to update educator’s concept and promote their quality. At present, the research of college students’ life values in our country is initially proposed, remains to be explored. we need to clarify the problem of theory, analyze the problems and challenges in practice and find the ways to develop the college students’ life values education. Especially, we need to improve educational content, rich educational methods, optimize educational environment and so on. We need to explore an effective path for college students’ life values education in our country.
