习近平典型教育思想是基于现实诉求的回应而形成的。首先,随着时代的发展和社会变迁,典型教育的环境发生了变化。市场经济的深入发展对公民素养提出更高要求,社会价值观念的多元化在一定程度上影响着共同精神家园的构筑,而互联网的快速发展对社会舆论导向有着重要影响,这些都对典型教育提出了新要求和新期待。其次,当前典型教育面临困境,削弱了典型教育效果。偶像崇拜的泛滥、英雄虚无主义、功利主义倾向等对典型教育形成冲击。最后,实现中华民族伟大复兴需要榜样引领。典型教育有助于弘扬社会主义核心价值观、助力党员干部教育。
习近平典型教育思想是一个系统化的思想体系,从选择什么典型、怎样宣传典型、如何学习典型及如何保证典型教育效果四大方面展开。在典型的选树上,习近平主张树立精神的榜样,学习英雄模范以弘扬爱国精神,学习劳动模范以倡导工匠精神,学习道德模范以彰显向善精神,学习干部楷模以展现担当精神。在典型的宣传上,习近平注重以渗透方式感化,将典型教育融入到仪式教育、文艺工作及家风建设中。在典型的学习上,习近平主张明确典型学习的目标,学精神、学品质、学方法,对照先进典型进行学习,注重榜样精神的实践养成及发挥领导干部的带头作用。在典型教育效果保障上,习近平注重对先进典型的教育引导,关爱典型,并不断完善典型的奖惩制度。
习近平典型教育思想体现出鲜明的继承性、时代性和群众性。习近平典型教育思想是对马克思主义经典作家的典型教育理论、中国共产党主要领导人的典型教育理论及中华优秀传统文化中典型教育思想的继承与发展;习近平结合时代发展新任务开展典型教育,创新先进典型的呈现方式,并与时俱进地学习传统先进典型,体现创新性;习近平注重选树基层典型,注重结合受众需要和实际开展典型教育,体现群众性。
习近平典型教育思想的时代价值主要体现在以下三方面:一是深化了典型教育理论,习近平关于典型教育的对象、理论及方法的阐释,进一步拓宽了典型教育的理论深度和广度;二是拓宽了典型教育思路,揭示典型教育要服务于现实需要、聚焦现实问题及重视内化外行;三是丰富了典型教育路径,要求典型的示范教育与示警教育结合、典型的集中教育与渗透教育结合,典型的系统化教育与规范化管理结合。
