处于高中阶段的学生，已经开始逐步考虑自身的兴趣、能力和职业的社会价值，开始寻求就业的机会。特别是高三学生面临着大学专业选择的迷惘，这时开展职业规划教育是高中生全面发展的必然要求，它既有利于培养学生的职业观念和自主意识，提高学生的职业竞争力，也有利于完善我国的就业服务体系。本文主要内容包括前言、正文和结语三部分：正文第一部分，通过研究有关职业规划教育的文献资料，对中外职业规划教育进行了多角度、多层次的比较：第一，理论建构方面；第二，法律和政策保障方面；第三，资金投入方面；第四，师资配备方面；等等。并分析了我国的职业规划教育情况，同时从发达国家的实践经验中归纳出可供我市高中阶段职业规划教育借鉴的宝贵经验。正文第二部分，通过发放问卷调查和个别访谈，对揭阳市高中生职业规划教育现状进行分析，并概括出现状形成的原因：第一，学校重视不够；第二，师资配置欠缺；第三，学生认知缺位；第四，社会力量的支持不足，家长也不甚热衷。正文第三部分，通过发放问卷调查和个别访谈，对揭阳市高中生大学专业选择的现状进行分析，并概括出影响学生专业选择的原因：第一，个人兴趣和学科优势的影响；第二，师长意见的影响；第三，家庭经济条件的影响；第四，社会大众观念的影响。同时，综合正文第二部分的内容，提出了高中阶段职业规划教育对大学专业选择的重要性。正文第四部分，通过借鉴国内外先进经验，并结合本地实际情况，提出在高中阶段引入职业规划教育的实施策略：1.提出在高中阶段引入职业规划教育的要求；2.提出在高中阶段引入职业规划教育的实施策略。
