This qualitative study explores Omani university students' and career guidance professionals' views on AI's role in career planning using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a framework. It uncovers diverse perspectives through interviews and focus groups, emphasising the potential and challenges of integrating AI into career services. The findings showed alignment with previous studies. There is an overall positive perception of usefulness and usability. This research contributes to the evolving discourse on AI in higher educational settings and offers insight into integrating AI into career guidance effectively. |
