在电子游戏产业迅速发展的当代,不少游戏制作商将神话作为优秀文化资源广泛运用至游戏中,通过借鉴与改编以构筑其游戏作品的世界观。本文以《战神5:诸神黄昏》为个案,从人物塑造的视角,对比游戏人物与神话人物在形象特征、精神内核上的联系与区别,探究游戏如何在当代语境中重述神话,进而总结归纳神话人物重构的方式与角度。同时,本文通过 线上田野作业的方法收集玩家对重构神话的评价,并从情感共鸣与消解传统的角度对玩家的肯定与争议展开分析。本文认为:游戏改编是当代神话重述的一种表现形式,游戏在塑造人物时,不同程度挪用神话传统中对人物外观、故事的书写,并从人物情感与理想追求的层面为神话人物注入当代人文诉求,将个性化理解融入神话传承;游戏受众的肯定在一定程度上 显示出神话重述的合理性,而玩家的质疑则指向改编作品可能存在的局限性;电子游戏在重构神话的过程中既有可能存在的新方向,也有需要关注和解决的问题。

外文摘要:

As the game industry has developed, myths are widely used as cultural resources in games by game producers to construct worldviews through borrowing and adapting. This study takes the perspective of characterization, comparing connections and differences between the characters of God of War: Ragnarök and the mythological characters in terms of characteristics and spirits, examining how games restate myths contemporarily, to summarize ways of reconstructing characters in myths. This study collects players' assessments of the reconstructed myths through online fieldwork and analyzes assertion and controversy from the perspective of the affective resonance and dissipation tradition. This paper argues that game adaptation is a means of restating myths. When shaping characters, the game appropriates appearance and story writing of myths to a different extent and injects contemporary aspirations into mythological characters from emotions and pursuits to incorporate personalized understanding into mythic heritage. The players’ assertions show the rationality of the restated myths, while the questions indicate the limits of adaptation. Digital games have both potential directions and issues that require more attention in the process of myth reconstruction.
