汉字作为中国、中国文化的一个重要标志，不仅源远流长，而且文化内涵特别丰富，是世界上绝无仅有的。汉字既是中国传统文化的重要载体，也是学习和研究中国传统文化不可缺少的工具。本文以二十世纪八十年代以来“汉字与文化”的研究状况为对象进行综述。文章根据汉字特性和汉字与文化的关系肯定了“汉字与文化”研究的价值，探讨“汉字文化”研究的基本观点和方法。在第二章中对二十多年以来“汉字与文化”的研究状况进行了详细的叙述，例举部分主要专著进行说明。例如，《中国汉字文化大观》，《汉字文化丛书》等等。此外，许多期刊文章等也是参考的材料来源。我们在看到汉字文化研究取得的成果的同时也看到了在研究过程中出现的问题，得失并存。文章对汉字文化研究中的“得”与“失”作了总结概括，希望能从中总结出经验教训，期望将来“汉字与文化”这一领域的研究发展得更健康、成熟。我们认为，解决汉字文化研究中出现的这些问题需要成熟的理论，坚实的文字学功底和认真谨慎的态度。一门新学科从诞生到发展成熟，其间必然伴随着矛盾和争论。研究过程中的问题矛盾不可避免，但是“汉字文化”研究的前景是好的，越来越多的人关注这一研究领域，将来会出现一些汉字文化研究的专门人才来丰富、充实、规范这一领域的研究。

Chinese character is a important mark of china and chinese civilization. It has a very long history, and its intension of civilization is very enrich. Chinese character is the only one in the world. Chinese character is the important carrier of chinese traditional civilization, and it’s indispensable tool in studing and researching chinese traditional civilization.The present paper takes terms with the research of chinese character and civilization after 1980s.The paper affirms the value of the research of chinese character and civilization based on the property of chinese character and the ralation between chinese character and civilization. In the thied part, we detailedly narrate the research of chinese character and civilization between the tweenty years’research,and take some works to give an example. Such as, the civilization of chinese character in china, chinese character and civilization and so on. In addition, many periodical article also are the consult materials. We find the achivements in the research and also find the questions during the research. There was also get and lose. The paper sums up the get and lose in the research. And hope to sum up the experiences and lessons. Hope the research will develop more healthy and ripe.We think that we need ripen theories, secure knowledges and prudeat manner to solve the questions. A new branch of learning appears and becomes ripe, accompanise with it are contradictions and arguments. The questions are not avoided, but the research’s foreground is well. So many people concern this domain of the research that there will appear some experts to enrich and standard this domain of the research.
