近代国文教科书历经数十年的发展,在20世纪30年代已走向成熟。在民族复兴话语勃兴、党化教育盛行、民族危机深重的时代背景之下,这一时期的国文教科书呈现出与此前不同的样貌,其与时代联系密切的“复兴”话语尤为引人注目。那么,在浩如烟海的中国文学资源中,这一时期的国文教科书为何选定了一些,而舍弃了另一些?为何这一时期的国文教科书选定“复兴”话语来赋予其合法性?国文教科书中的“复兴”话语有着怎样的运行机制,体现出怎样的权力关系?本论文选定在20世纪30年代初期具有代表性的商务印书馆“复兴”系列国文教科书为主要研究文本,并与20世纪早期出版的国文教科书进行比较,并运用话语分析的方法,力图从宏观把握和细节分析全方位地观察和理解20世纪30年代初期国文教科书中的“复兴”话语。本论文从30年代国文教科书“复兴”话语产生的社会历史语境入手,梳理30年代初期民族主义思潮、党国体制确立、民族复兴话语与教育发展和国文教科书编纂之间的内在联系,阐述国文教科书中“复兴”话语得以产生的外部因素。在此基础之上,深入以“复兴”系列教科书为代表的30年代国文教科书文本中,从选文意图、选文内容、选文形式等多个方面把握国文教科书的“复兴”话语实践,在纵向比较和文本分析中,凸显国文教科书在选材依据、情感依归、形象塑造、文体选择、语言形式等各个方面对“复兴”话语的反复强调和逐步深化。通过辨析和探究30年代初期国文教科书中“复兴”话语的运行机制,探讨“他者”效应、官方意志及编纂者的文化立场与国文教科书面貌之间的互动关系,即上述因素是如何导致和作用于国文教科书中的“复兴”话语,而教科书又是如何运用这一话语体系反映或反作用于现实。国文教科书研究的复杂性在于它处在社会、教育、文学等多个场域的共同作用之下,而它的丰富性和开放性也正体现于此。通过对20世纪30年代初期国文教科书“复兴”话语的研究,本文将为教育与社会、知识与权力、话语与政治间关系的研究提供一个具体的案例。

With the development of several decades, Chinese text books of modern times have already well developed in 1930s. Under such historical background of national crisis, the popularity of Kuomintang education and the topic of national rejuvenation wide spread, Chinese text book in this particular time have presented some differences from those in other times, especially the topic of ‘rejuvenation’, which is so closely tight to such historical background, has come to front. So the questions raised are how those materials are selected in Chinese text books of this time among countless of Chinese literature resources, why the text books justify themselves by choosing the topic of ‘national rejuvenation’ and how the topic works and also what kind of power relations the topic presents. This paper study the typical Chinese text books of ‘national rejuvenation’ series in early 1930s published by the commercial press and make a comparison with those published in early 20th century and tend to study and comprehend the topic of ‘national rejuvenation’ through both detailed and generalizes analysis by the means of discourse analysis.This paper study the social and historical context of the emerging of the topic of ‘national rejuvenation’ and analyze the internal relationships of nationalist sentiment, the establishment of party-state system, National rejuvenation of discourse, education development and the complication of text books, and illustrate the external factors of the emerging of ‘national rejuvenation’. On the basis of all above mentioned, we probe deep into the texts of such text book to analyze the discourse practice of the ‘national rejuvenation’ in it through several aspects i.e. the intention, content and formation of the texts selection and using vertical comparison and text analysis we emphasis the influence of ‘national rejuvenation’ in material selection, emotion orientation, character sculpturing, stylistic choice and words form. Through the research of the operation mechanism of ‘national rejuvenation’ in Chinese text books in 1930s, we talk about the interactive relations between the ‘other’ effect, the dominant will and culture position of editors, that is to say how those factors mentioned above lead to and act on the topic of ‘national rejuvenation’ in text books and how in turn the text book through such discourse system react on reality.The complexity of the study in Chinese text book is that it’s under a combined action of many fields such as society, education and literature, also in which it’s richness and openness lies. Through the analysis of topic of ‘national rejuvenation’ in Chinese text books in 1930s, the paper will set a concrete example for the study of the relations in society and education, knowledge and power, discourse and politics.
