The Hanseatic League holds significant importance in medieval history, offering insights into the economic, social, and political developments of the era. Therefore, utilizing the history of the Hanseatic League in secondary school history classrooms holds practical significance for teaching medieval history. This paper focuses on the ninth lesson of the third unit, "The Rise of Medieval Cities and Universities," from the Grade 9 Volume I of the compiled junior high school history textbook "World History." It uses the content of the Hanseatic League as an example to explain three aspects of medieval history: free cities, urban residents, and the rise of universities, aiming to create an innovative and engaging medieval classroom experience for students. |
