《礼记》与《周礼》、《仪礼》合称为“三礼”，是儒家的重要典籍，为历代学者所重。《礼记》又名《小戴记》、《小戴礼记》，共四十九篇。《礼记》收录的是儒家弟子、门人、后学传习《仪礼》时，对各种关于“礼”的问题的讨论、见解，也就是一本有关“礼”的文章选集。《礼记》在唐代以前并非经书，地位不如《仪礼》，后经过东汉的马融、卢植、郑玄，以及南北朝的皇侃、熊安生等人的注释、发展，在唐代被收入孔颖达主持编撰的《五经正义》，正式被列入五经。《经典释文》三十卷，唐代陆德明所撰。该书是继东汉郑玄《礼记注》、南朝皇侃《礼记义疏》之后的又一力作。全书全面概括、总结了两汉魏晋南北朝时期的各家音注，共为《礼记》、《仪礼》、《周礼》、《周易》等十四部经典注音、作注。其中《礼记音义》四卷，以郑玄《礼记注》和《礼记》经文为注释对象，对经文、注文中的异文、异读等难解之处均作了音、义方面的训释。全书共参考引用了东汉、两晋、南北朝时期的各家《礼记》音注十四家。保留了大量的唐以前的异文、异读材料。本文通过对《礼记音义》中存在的异文、异读材料的整理疏证，进一步了解了古书中异文、异读的特点，证明了异文、异读在训诂学、文字学和音韵学等领域的研究所具有的重要意义

The Book of Rites, The Ritual of Zhou and The Book of Etiquette are collectively named as “Three Ritual Texts”, which are all very important Confucian classics and were highly appreciated by Scholars in each dynasty. The Book of Rites , which contains forty-nine chapters is also named Xiaodai Li, Xiaodai Ji or Xiaodai Liji. The Book of Rites is a collection of Confucian disciples’ discussions, and opinions about “ritual”, especially about The Book of Etiquette.Before Tang Dynasty, The Book of Rites was not so important as The Book of Etiquette. Thanks to the great efforts made by Ma Rong, Lu Zhi, and Zheng Xuan in Eastern Han Dynasty, Huang Kan and Xiong Ansheng in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, The Book of Rites was included in Correct Meanings of the Five Classics, which was compiled by Kong Yingda. Jingdian Shiwenwhich has thirty volumes, was written by Lu Deming in Tang Dynasty and finally became one of the Five Classics in Tang Dynasty. The book Correct Meanings of the Five Classics is another masterpiece after Zheng Xuan’s Notes to the Book of Rites and Huang Kan’s Notes to the Book of Rites. Jingdian Shiwen comprehensively summarized the notes of pronunciations of The Book of Rites during the Wei Jin and the Northern and Southern Dynasties. Jingdian Shiwen contains four volumes of Liji Yinyi . Liji Yinyi is based on the Zheng Xuan’s notes to The Book of Rites, the original texts of The Book of Rites and fourteen different books on analyzing the pronunciations of the words in The Book of Rites. Jingdian Shiwen has preserved a lot of variant words and variant pronunciations. Via analyzing the variant words and variant pronunciations of Liji Yinyi, I‘ve got further understanding of the characteristics of the variant words and variant pronunciations, and well proved the profound significance of the study on the variant words and variant pronunciations.
