摘 要全身反应法Total Physical Response(TPR)是美国心理学教授詹姆斯.阿歇尔在其它教学法的基础上,提出的一种全新的语言教学法。即教师作为TPR教学策略的一部分,在课上,教师用口头指令和身体动作给学生做示范,然后教师对学习者发出指令,让学生在理解的基础上用适当的身体语言回应。在实际教学中,笔者曾使用不同的教学法教学,但最终的结果都很不理想,都未达到预期效果;在学习了全身反应法TPR之后,笔者把它付诸于实践,为了证明TPR是最有效的儿童英语教学法之一,笔者做此实验。论文分为五章:第一章,根据我国幼儿英语教育发展现状中存在的问题进行探讨,提出问题,确定其研究的目的和意义。第二章,通过对翻译法、听说法、功能法三种教学法的对比研究,分析总结这三种教学法在实际教学中的优势和劣势;分析论述上述这三种教学法和全身反应法TPR的相同之处与不同之处。第三章,梳理概括国内外全身反应法TPR研究现状。第四章,从幼儿园的选择、教师的选择,孩子的选择三方面来设计教学实验;并运用文献法、问卷调查法、实验法、教学测试法等手段展开研究。实验分为初期、中期,结尾三个阶段。第五章,通过教学测试、家长与教师问卷调查等手段收集相关数据,进行统计分析,得出结论。在论文最后,笔者根据全身反应法TPR的原理来设计,实施幼儿英语教学。最终证明全身反应法TPR是一种动态的教学模式,是一种无压力的第二语言教学法。文中呈现了一些英语教学设计;这些教学设计向我们展示了如何用这个方法进行教学。本论文注重教学实践,希望这些教学设计对儿童英语教学有启发作用。

James J.Asher is the originator of Total Physical Response (TPR). He established Total Physical Response on the basis of other manners. It is a stress-free approach to second language acquisition. As part of TPR teachers physically and verbally model commands for students who are then required to respond with appropriate actions. The writer has used different methods (not TPR) in her classes but it did not bring effective results. By this experiment, the writer has proved that TPR is one of the best methods in teaching children English in Chinese kindergarten.This thesis includes five chapters. Chapter one puts forward problems and determines the purpose and significance of the research. Chapter Two is divided to two parts. The writer analyzes and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of all methods used in actual teaching. On the one hand, the writer has compared three teaching methods; On the other hand, the writer analyzes and discusses similarities and differences between TPR and three other teaching methods. In Chapter Three, The writer has designed a teaching experiment from three aspects :kindergarten, teachers , children .In addition, The writer has researched Literatures、used questionnaire survey 、experimental method and test. The experiment is divided into three periods : Initials stage、middle stage,and final stage. In Chapter four, it shows us the research status of TPR at home and abroad. In Chapter five, the data is presented by means of teaching test, parents and teacher’s questionnaire survey, and then, the writer analyzes the data and draws a conclusionThe Paper also presents several Teaching English Lesson Plans, and these cases can demonstrate how to use this approach to teach. The Paper pays more attention to teaching practice and with the goal that these designs can help teach children English.
