在当今时代，随着社会的日渐多元化，以及经济水平的发展。舞蹈教育早已经脱离了单一的专业化模式，开始要求舞蹈人才向智能型和知识型多方面发展。为了适应这一新的形势的要求，舞蹈界提出了 “知识舞蹈”的新理念，充分表明了这是知识化的社会中发展的舞蹈。知识舞蹈的提出要求我们走多元化舞蹈教育之路，即设立培养人才标准的 “多规格....多目标”以及培养方式上的“多层次”，要求我们用知识去表演舞蹈，用文化去创造舞蹈，努力培养跨世纪的舞蹈综合人才。

With the progressive societal diversification and economic standard development, dancing education nowadays has been deviated from unitary professional mode, and dance talents have been required to develop in an intelligent and knowledgeable way. In order to satisfy the requirements of this new trend, dancing industry has proposed a new concept of "knowledge dancing",which fully illustrates the dance development in this knowledge-oriented society. The proposal of knowledge dancing demands we should advance to a diversified dance education, which sets up the standard of talent cultivation as multiple specifications and multiple objectives, and establishes a multi-level cultivation manner. It also requires us to perform dancing by virtue of knowledge, create dancing with culture, and cultivate comprehensive talents of dancing to the best of our ability.
