篮球文化就是篮球运动的‘魂’,培育和发展篮球文化是关系到篮球运动能否实现可持续发展的重大战略问题。以俱乐部为骨架,以市场为导向,以严密的法律和游戏规则为指针,以超前的经营理念为发展方向的NBA篮球文化是优秀的职业篮球文化,更是职业篮球文化的主流文化,引导着世界职业篮球的发展。中国职业篮球联赛从创办以来取得了一定的成果,但联赛水平不高、社会影响力不强,中国职业篮球文化正在形成之中。本文通过对职业篮球文化的概念和职业篮球文化的结构的探索和中美职业篮球文化迥异的对比分析,从中找出中美职业篮球运动发展在文化层面上的不足,结合我国职业篮球运动发展的实际情况,取其精华,提出加强中国职业篮球文化建设的若干对策,推动中国职业篮球事业和产业的发展,有重要的现实意义。本文运用文献资料法、专家访谈法和逻辑分析法,结合文化学、体育经济学和体育管理学等理论知识,首先对职业篮球文化的概念和职业篮球文化的结构等基本理论问题进行深入的分析,其次,从职业篮球文化结构的三个层面,即深层、中层和表层,对NBA与CBA进行较详细的比较分析。研究结果表明:(1) 在中美职业篮球社会心理层面,受儒家文化的影响,中国职业篮球比赛中,强调团队配合,忽略了人在职业运动中的主体作用。在“个人本位,克服自然、富于创造”的美国文化特性影响下,NBA球员在篮球场上注重个性展示,积极的对抗和技战术创新。在中美职业篮球意识层面,CBA参与者缺乏类似“美国精神”一样的敢于竞争拼搏、敢于创新立异和当英雄的意识。NBA参与者崇尚英雄主义,个人主义,强调竞争意识。在中美职业篮球思想层面,篮球理念是其最深层次的东西。国内的篮球理念是在将球投入对方篮框,以得分多少决定胜负的集体球类运动项目,是典型的见物不见人的思想。美国人的篮球概念为:以将球投入对方篮筐多少决定胜负,是促进人全面发展的“以人带球”的集体性体育项目,以人为本”的篮球思想。(2)在中美职业篮球的组织形式层面,当前CBA与NBA仅仅是在参赛球队数量和比赛场次上存在一定差异性,在竞赛办法上具有较大的相似之处。在中美职业篮球的组织机构层面,NBA这一职业篮球卡特尔是完全以商业公司的形式运行,效率非常高的,各个部门之间的职能和工作各不相同,但分工十分明确,各部门的负责人都对总裁办公室或与之相应的负责人联络。在我国,国家体育总局领导下的中国篮球管理中心是CBA的最高权力部门,其下属分三个部,负责对CBA联赛的全面运营管理,篮管中心在市场的运作过程中既行使管理权,又掌握着各个俱乐部的产权。在中美职业篮球的管理体制层面,NBA由全国篮球运动项目协会,职业篮球联盟,职业篮球俱乐部组成的三级管理体制的管理体系,三者表现为一种“伙伴关系”,以NBA联盟利益的最大化为前提,共同维护整个联盟的正常运转。我国CBA联赛的运行机制与NBA联盟的管理机制大相径庭,各个俱乐部脱胎于计划经济体制下的各省、市专业队,其管理仍然是自上而下强制性的垂直式管理模式。在中美职业篮球的政策法规层面,NBA有完善的选秀制度,限薪制度,预留条款制度和授权机制等。我国的CBA联赛通过10年的摸索,相继颁布了一系列的法律、法规。但CBA的法律、法规不够灵活,不能有效地保证经营者的经济利益,多是硬性规定,缺少人性化的东西,没有充分体现经济方面的内容。(3)在中美职业篮球的物质资源层面,投入的主要物质资源是球馆。NBA球馆的建设总是以市场为导向,以观众和球迷为中心,结合当地的风土人情,力求给消费者提供一个豪华、高级、舒适的娱乐场所。CBA体育馆观众席、电视转播席等科技含量及人性化程度不够高,体育馆内设观众席位较少,体育馆周围的交通设施有待改善。在中美职业篮球的思想物化品层面,NBA有属于自己的知识产权,在赛场上不停变换的广告信息,NBA还在世界范围内提供其授权商品,紧密联系和利用媒体宣传NBA品牌。CBA对标志产品的开发层次较低,目前涉及到的主要是服装类和运动器材类,品种少,规模小,销量低,利润不可观。在中美职业篮球的活动形式层面,NBA宣扬着“I Love This Game”的积极主动参与精神,NBA每年都在本国和全世界与知名的公司举办大量的活动。 CBA取消联赛商业冠名,但各俱乐部的商业冠名权还依然存在。CBA积极效仿NBA,开展各种公益活动,比赛中的啦啦队表演、吉祥物的搞笑表演和全明星周末等各种娱乐球迷的活动,但是,CBA的这些活动形式,太注重模仿,而忽视中国传统文化特色。最后,提出加强中国职业篮球文化建设的建议:1. 加强中国职业篮球文化理念的认识;2. 突出中国职业篮球文化的民族特色;3. 深化赛制改革,创建充满活力的CBA联赛;4. 明析中国职业篮球俱乐部的产权关系,理顺俱乐部的管理体制;5. 突出行业协会运作的主体性;6. 创造中国职业篮球文化的物质环境;7. 加大中国职业篮球文化的推广包装;8. 加强中国职业篮球文化传播网络建设;9. 开发中国职业篮球市场,改善经营环境,建立与联赛相关的产业;10. 通过制定职业联赛的准入标准来推动各俱乐部加强文化建设。

Basketball culture is the 'soul' of basketball game. Fostering and developing basketball culture is related to the important strategic issue that whether basketball game can achieve the sustainable development. Relying on its clubs, market, strict laws and regulations and foresight management theories, NBA basketball culture, which sets the trend of basketball game all over the world, is an excellent professional basketball culture and mainstream basketball culture. Since its foundation, CBA has attained some accomplishments, but the level of CBA league isn’t high, and the social influence is not strong. Thus Chinese Pro basketball culture is undergoing its development. By defining the concept of pro basketball culture, exploring the structure of pro basketball culture and comparatively analyzing the differences of Sino-U.S. pro basketball culture, this thesis tries to discover the shortcomings of china pro basketball culture with U.S. pro basketball culture and then proposes some suggestions about how to enhance Chinese pro basketball culture and promote the development of china pro basketball industrials.This thesis retorts to such research methods as literature material, expert interviews and comparative analysis, combining the theories of culture study, sport economics and sport management, and first explores such basic theories as the concept of pro basketball culture and the structure of pro basketball culture, and then conducts detailed comparative analysis between the 3 levels of NBA and CBA pro basketball culture.Through analysis, it suggests that: (1) At the social and psychological level of pro basketball culture, under the influence of Confucian culture, China pro basketball game emphasizes the teamwork ignores the importance of individual players .Under the influence of American culture, "to be individual orientated, to overcome the natural and to be creative”, NAB players focus on personality display, fierce competition and innovation of techniques and strategies. At the awareness level of pro basketball culture, CBA participants lack such “American spirit" as to be brave enough to compete and come to the top and to be innovating. NBA players advocate heroism, individualism, and emphasize the sense of competition. At thought level of pro basketball culture, basketball philosophy is the essence. In China, we define basketball games as a kind of team ball game where players try to shoot the ball into the baskets and the side who score most in the end of the games win, which is a pure result-oriented definition. In U.S. people define basketball game as a kind of team event where the side who scores most win and it’s aim to educate it’s players and enhance all round developments of players (2) At the level of organization, though there are differences between the number of participant teams and the number of games, NBA and CBA have some similarity on competition method. At administrative body level between NBA and CBA, NBA Basketball cartels that are entirely in the form of commercial companies run its business. Thus, its efficiency is very high and its work classification is very clear and each department officer is in liaison with the president and other department. In our country, China Basketball Administration Center, under the leadership of the General Administration of Sports of China, is the highest power department and has its three subordinate Departments which are responsible for the CBA league operational management. Basketball Administration Center owns its administration rights and all clubs’ property rights. Basketball Administration Center has dual identities of manager and operator. At the management system level, NBA league consists of National Basketball Association, professional basketball league, Professional Basketball Club which work as partners with NBA, maximize the profit of its league and jointly maintain regular operation of the entire league. While CBA league’s operation mechanism is quiet different with NBA under the impact of socio-economic transition. Since every club derived from provincial pro team which are under the supervision of planned economy, its management remains a top-down mandatory vertical management model. At the level of league’s regulations and laws , NBA's draft system, salary limits regulation, set aside the terms of systems and the main purpose of the licensing mechanism are in order to restrict team power from getting too strong and ensure the equality between different teams and make the competition be in more suspence and more spectacular. At the same time, those regulations also restrict each team from disorderly selecting talented players among different clubs and clubs’ excessive fiscal spending. Through 10 years of exploration, CBA promulgated a series of laws and regulations in order to enhance its leagues’ law system and other protection mechanism. However, CBA's laws and regulations are not enough flexible and should not effectively guarantee the economic interests of operators and many are harsh rules lacking of humanity and the content of the economy. (3) At the material resources level of China and U.S. pro basketball culture, the main material resource is the venue. Guided by the market all the time, focusing on its audience and fans, NBA Arenas’ construction is combined with local customs and strives to provide consumers with a luxurious, advanced and comfortable entertainment places. The technology and humanity of CBA stadium audience seats and TV studios are not high enough, transport facilities around the stadium need to be improved. At the level of idea materialized goods, NBA has its own intellectual property rights and non-stop ads information on the courts. NBA provides its authorized merchandise all over the world and publicizes NBA brand by resorting to media. Product development of CBA symbols is at a lower level, currently it is mainly involved in sports wears and equipment with less varieties, small scale and small profit. At the activity level of Sino-U.S. pro basketball, in the spirit of active participation, NBA promotes "I Love This Game ".Every year NBA held many activities with famous companies in the States and all over the world. CBA league canceled its tournament commercial title, but the club's commercial naming rights still exist. CBA actively follow the example of NBA, by holding all kinds of charity activities and entertainment activities such as cheerleader’s performance, the mascot of funny performances and All Stars’ weekend. But those CBA activities too much emphasize on imitation and ignore traditional Chinese culture. At the end of this thesis, I offer some recommendations in order to enhance Chinese pro basketball culture: 1. To further understand the notion of Chinese pro basketball; 2. To highlight national characteristics of Chinese pro basketball culture; 3. To deepen the reform of competition system and to create a vibrant environment of CBA league; 4. To clearly understand and arrange Chinese Pro Basketball Club ownership relations, rationalize the club management system; 5. To emphasize the operation subjectivity of it's association; 6. To create a better material environment of Chinese pro basketball culture; 7. To increase the promotion and packing of Chinese pro basketball culture; 8. To construct a better media network of Chinese basketball culture; 9. To explore Chinese pro basketball market, to improve it's business environment and to set up some industries related to Chinese pro basketball culture.
