教科书中的“人物”是编写者借以传递知识、呈现教育内容的重要载体,特别在语文教育中,课文中所塑造的人物形象不仅是学生掌握文章内涵和获得知识的来源,同时也发挥了“榜样”的作用。本研究选取内地人教版与澳门现代教育版初中语文作为分析的文本,以当中的“人物形象”作为研究对象,对两地教科书的价值取向进行比较研究。首先对相关研究的文献进行梳理,根据教科书实际情况编制人物形象的分析框架。分别从人物的外在形象(性别、年龄、时代、国别、民族、职业)和内地形象(女性、古人、现代人、凡人、伟人、文学家、科学家形象)两个类目共十三个分析因子出发,进行人物分布的频数统计以及不同类型形的具体分析,就两地在人物选取、形象塑造、人物品质、培养目的等方面展开,分析异同,最后对人物形象塑造进行总体审视,得出结论,并就研究结论进行讨论。
研究发现两套初中语文教科书在人物塑造方面既存在共性,也存在一定的差异,研究主要得出以下结论︰
(1)两套教科书在人物形象的性别、民族和国别上的选择与塑造均有缺失。
(2)两套教科书较重视古代人物形象,对人物形象体现的传统价值和个人品德修养给予很高的关注。
(3)在各种时代人物品质形象上,人教版反映的比较集中,在人物塑造中总会带有爱国主义或者奉献精神,而现代教育版塑造较少的爱国人物形象,强调古人的忠孝仁义和现当代人物的平凡可亲。
(4)两套教科书皆较强调“奉献”的品格,但两地对于表现 “奉献”的精神品质存在一定的差距。前者总与爱国、社会建设或政治有所联系,后者则倾向于家庭或生活细节。
(5)人教版较重视运用大事件或者说是政治性较浓的事件来呈现人物的精神世界,而现代教育版更倾向于通过一些普通的生活事例来展现人物的精神品质。

Character of textbook is an important transmitter for the writers to pass the knowledge and present the educational content. Especially in language education, characters of text are not only sources which students master articles connote and access to knowledge, but it is a role model also. This paper, character is the main research object in this paper, it selects the junior high school Chinese textbooks published respectively by People’s s Education Press and Modern Educational Research Society as an the text of analysis, makes a comparative study of values on the Mainland China and Macao junior high school Chinese textbooks. Above all, this study reference previous research results, which constructs the framework of the research on comparing and analyzing the character, including two parts: “external image”(means gender, age, country, nationality, occupation and ethnic group) and “internal image” (means female image, article image, modern image, mortal image, great image, scientists image and writer image), to be compared by using frequency’s statistics and detail analysis of the different types of character. The article describes the characters from the ideological and moral, behavior quality, the spirit of the characteristics. This paper is based on the character selection, image-building, and characteristics to analyze the similarities and differences of China mainland and Macau. Finally, this paper will conclude the portrayal of the characters image-building, and discuss research findings:
(1)These two textbooks both need improvements on selecting and describing characters’ gender, nationality and ethnic group.
(2) These two textbooks emphasize on ancient characters, and these both gave high attention on the characters’ traditional values and (personal) morality.
(3)PEP version focuses on different era’s characteristics that always show the patriotism and dedication. However, Modern Education version is more focus on ancient’s spirits- loyal, filial piety, kindness, and faithful; and nowadays characters’ amiable and approachable.
(4)These two textbooks are both emphasize on dedication. However, PEP version relates dedication with country, society, and political. Modern Education version relates dedication with life and family.
(5)PEP version uses important events or political events to show characters’ mind. However, Modern Education version uses things happening in life to indicate the characteristics.
