创新被视为我国培育经济新增长点、推动高质量发展的关键动力。当前，我国创新活动存在着策略性创新、忽略质量的特征表现，能够产生实质性进步的技术创新仍有较大发展空间。在市场经济条件下，市场信息、市场规模等因素影响着技术创新主体开展技术创新活动的意愿与决策。因此，如何挖掘市场潜力、完善市场运行机制成为推动技术创新发展、构建以市场为导向的技术创新体系的重要议题之一。与此同时，数字化进程加速了技术创新系统的内部演变，也深刻影响了市场运行方式，数字经济的发展可能成为重塑技术创新活动的重要力量。在此背景下，本文聚焦数字经济和区域技术创新发展两大主题，展开相关研究。

通过对现有文献的梳理与总结发现，已有研究大多肯定数字经济对技术创新的促进作用。其中，围绕路径机制的研究大多关注优化资源配置、削弱市场分割、降低企业成本等方面，却少有细致探讨市场机制在其中发挥如何作用。此外，在现有关于数字经济促进技术创新的机制检验中，内生性问题的讨论相对不足。基于此，本文将数字经济、市场机制与技术创新纳入一个统一的分析框架中，进一步探讨数字经济的技术创新效应及其路径机制。首先，完成相关问题的文献综述与理论分析；接着，基于互联网发展与数字化经济活动产出两大维度，使用熵值法，完成我国省级数字经济发展水平的测度；在此基础上，构建2011-2019年省级面板数据，运用双向固定效应模型、中介效应模型、工具变量回归等方法实证检验数字经济发展的技术创新效应及其路径机制，并进一步对数字经济促进技术创新发展的时空异质性进行检验。

本文的研究结果主要有以下几个方面：第一，整体而言，数字经济发展显著推动了区域技术创新的发展。进一步使用核心变量滞后项、替换被解释变量、使用历史数据构造工具变量等方法进行稳健性检验，结论保持一致。第二，在路径机制方面，数字经济可以通过扩大技术市场交易规模、降低市场交易成本间接促进区域技术创新发展；第三，在异质性方面，数字经济的技术创新效应存在显著的时空异质性，即在政府关注度较高的时期、市场化水平较高以及金融发展水平较高的地区，数字经济对技术创新发展的促进效应更为显著。本研究有助于推动关于数字经济、市场在提升技术创新发展中的影响机制及其异质性的理解，并为如何推动完善以市场为导向的技术创新体系提供相应的政策建议。

The Chinese government makes a series of policies in order to promote the high-quality economic development. Hence, innovation is regarded as a crucial factor to find new points of economic growth and realize the economy transformation and upgrading. However, until this day, the innovation activities still remain the problem which is characterized by strategic innovation and neglect of quality. The technological innovation which can produce substantial progress is still potential for growth. Under the conditions of market economy, market information, market scale and other factors affect the technological innovation subjects to decide whether to carry out a technological activity or not. therefore, how to spur the market potential and improve the market operation mechanism has become an important issue in promoting the development of technological innovation. At the same time, the digitalization process has accelerated the internal evolution of technological innovation systems and profoundly influenced the way markets operate. Hence, the development of the digital economy may become an important force in reshaping technological innovation activities. Under this background, this paper focuses on the two themes of digital economy and regional technological innovation development to conduct the related research.

After combing the existing literature, we find that the existing researches all agree that the digital economy has an enhancing effect on technological innovation Besides, most of the existing mechanism studies focus on optimizing resource allocation, weakening market segmentation, reducing enterprise costs, etc., but there are few detailed discussions on how the market mechanism plays a role in it. In addition, in the previous studies on the mechanism of digital economy to promote technological innovation, the discussion of endogeneity is relatively insufficient. Based on this, this paper integrates the digital economy, market mechanism and technological innovation into a unified analytical framework to further explore the technological innovation effect of digital economy and its path mechanism. Firstly, it completes the literature review and theoretical analysis of related issues. Then, based on the two dimensions of Internet development and digital economic activities, the entropy value method is used to complete the measurement of the level of provincial digital economic development; secondly, the paper builds the 2011-2019 Chinese provincial panel data to finish the related empirical research, which is examined by using the two-way fixed effect model, the mediated effect model, the instrumental variable regression and other methods.

The findings of this paper are mainly in the following aspects: first, in terms of the overall, the development of regional digital economy has significant enhancing effect on the development of regional technological innovation. Besides, the paper completes different kinds of robustness tests, for example, lagging core explanatory variables by one or two periods, replacing the explanatory variables, using the 2SLS method with different instrumental variables. And the conclusion above remains consistent. Second, in terms of path mechanism, digital economic development can indirectly promote technological innovation by expanding technology market transaction scale and reducing market transaction costs. Third, in terms of heterogeneity, we find that the effect that the digital economy promotes the development of technological innovation has shown different temporally and spatially, it is more pronounced in the period of higher governmental attention, the higher level of marketization, and the higher level of financial development in the region. This study helps to promote the understanding of the digital economy, the influence mechanism of the market in enhancing the development of technological innovation and its heterogeneity, and provides corresponding policy recommendations on how to promote the improvement of the market-oriented technological innovation system.
