This thesis takes the headlines of the cover stories of Sanlian Lifeweek as object of study. From the perspective of journalism and linguistic I summarize the characteristics of the sample headlines, and then by comparing them with headlines of the cover stories of Time magazine, discover the similarities and differences and analyze the cause.
