汉代经学中，部分经典的传承可以追溯到荀子。荀子对于《诗》、《礼》等经典的传承都有具体的传承记载。但现存文献未有材料明言荀子传《书》。荀子引《书》共23次，往往断章取义，不顾《书》的原意。而以繁复琐碎和神学化著称的汉代《书》学，与荀子的思想不甚相同，并且由于《尚书》产生年代较早、运用不多，因此荀子的《书》学思想未能直接影响汉代《书》学。本文结合荀子对《尚书》的传承、荀子引《书》与论《书》的情况，以及汉代《书》学的特点，进一步分析荀子《书》学不传的原因。

In the Han Dynasty Confucian classics, part of the classic heritage can be traced back to Xun Zi. Xun Zi for the "The Book of Songs ", "Ritual "and other classic heritage has a specific heritage records. But in the existing literature material, no biography of Xun Zi inherited “Shang Shu”. Xun Zi cited "Shang Shu" a total of 23 times, often in spite of "book" interpret out of context, intention. And known for its complicated trivial and the theology of Han Dynasty, "Shang Shu", and Xun Zi's thought is not quite the same. Because the collection of “Shang Shu” was in an early age and not much use, Xun Zi's thought of "Shang Shu" did not directly affect the study of “Shang Shu” in Han Dynasty. In this paper, the inheritance of Xun Zi to “Shang Shu”, Xun Zi lead "book" and "book" theory, as well as the Han Dynasty, "Shang Shu" the characteristics of, further analysis of the book of Xun Zi does not pass.
