彭燕郊最为人所知的身份是“七月派诗人”，他的“告别浪漫主义”诗学观念并未受到学界足够的关注。相较于“七月派”时期，在进入1980年代以后，彭燕郊诗歌探索进入了新的领域，更能代表这位诗人的写作水准。而彭燕郊的诗歌写作与“告别浪漫主义”诗学观念有着密不可分的关联。 “告别浪漫主义”诗学观的核心在于，从根本观念上转变人们对于“诗是什么”这一问题的看法。彭燕郊认为，现代的诗应与现代社会和人们的现代思维相适应，诗不单是“浪漫主义”抒情，而应该是思考，应该关切人类的生存境况。一方面，这是彭燕郊在长期的写作实践中提炼出来的诗学观，另一方面，这也在很大程度上反映了我国新诗从整体上走向“现代”的发展方向。 本文着眼于“语境”“文本”“元文本”三个维度，以线性的时间发展为脉络，同时结合穿插对比分析，试图从内外两方面呈现“告别浪漫主义”诗学观的深层含义。通过对彭燕郊诗学观和具体诗歌作品的细致分析，本文试图重新定位这位诗人的文学史地位，并以此管窥八十年代之后我国新诗发展的总体概貌。

Peng Yanjiao is widely known as one of the “July” Poets, yet his poetics summarized as “Farewell to Romanticism” have not got considerable concern. Compared with the “July” period, after entering the 1980s, Peng Yanjiao’s poetry exploration has entered a new stage, which can better represent this poet’s higher level. Peng Yanjiao’s poetry writing is closely related to the notion of “Farewell to Romanticism”. The core of “Farewell to Romanticism” is to change people’s view on “what is poetry” from the fundamental concept. Peng Yanjiao believes that modern poetry should be adapted to modern society and people's modern thinking. Poetry is not only a “romantic” lyric, but also a reflection, and should be concerned about the living conditions of human beings. On one hand, Peng Yanjiao's view of poetry is refined through his continuous in-depth creative practice. On the other hand, it reflects the development direction of Chinese new poetry from the whole to “modern” to a certain extent. This paper focuses on the three dimensions as “context”, “text” and “metatext”. Through the linear development of time as the context, and combined with the interpolation and comparative analysis, it attempts to present the deep meaning of “Farewell to Romanticism” from both internal and external aspects. Through a detailed analysis of Peng Yanjiao’s poetics and his specific poems, this paper explores his position in literary history, and thus gives a glimpse of the overall development of Chinese new poetry after the 1980s.
