课堂讨论作为一种重要的课堂教学组织形式,能够激发学生“主体性”,同时增强教师与学生、学生与学生之间的互动,有利于友好关系的建立及课堂融洽氛围的营造。
但现实表明,虽然教师对课堂讨论的优势认识清晰,并在教学中积极采用及开展,但实际效果却往往不如人意,使得不少课堂讨论流于形式而难以达成预设目标。
本研究试图通过对北京师范大学2005-2006春季学期的选修课程《影像中的生死学》中的课堂讨论进行分析,从教学理念及内容的设计、课堂讨论过程的组织(聚焦教师的课堂语言)、讨论的总结及课堂讨论良好氛围的营造四个角度分析该课程教师是怎样使课堂讨论在教学中发挥关键作用的,最终提出构建学习共同体的教学建议,以期为我国本科教学改革及相关研究提供些许参考。

Class discussion is an important organizational form in teaching. At first, discussion can stimulate the subjectivity of students. Secondly, discussion can enhance the interaction between teacher and students, students and their classmates, which can establish friendly relationship between them and create harmonious class atmosphere.
However, the reality shows that although teachers have a clear understanding of the advantages of class discussion and organized discussion actively, the effect is not satisfactory. Because they just did the discussion but didn`t try to achieve the objective of the teaching design .
This research regards the class which discusses the questions about life and death by watching movies in Beijing Normal University as an object, analyse it according to four aspects: the design of teaching concept and discussion questions, organization (especially, teachers' words), summary and atmosphere. In order to find out the teacher how to make class discussion play a real important role in teaching. Finally,we found the philosophy “community of teaching and learning”is the most significant point which can help a lot about organizing discussion in teaching.
