上海队是中国经济最发达的运动队之一，拥有最好的资源和运动员保障工作分配机制。本文通过对上海市专业队优秀艺术体操运动员退役就业和升学问题的研究，围绕上海市艺术体操队退役后的期望与计划，了解在役运动员的生活状况，访谈了上海市数位优秀艺术体操运动员，通过文献资料和调查访谈相结合的研究方法，在访谈研究总结的基础上为这些优秀艺术体操运动员提供就业建议，并提供升学问题的指导与帮助。结论如下：1、在制度与政策方面，从优秀艺术体操运动员的就业分配的方式与策略来看，退役运动员的联合保障管理机制需要被关注和建立，制定退役运动员自主创业保障政策； 2、在路径与导向方面，需要建立与完善优秀艺术体操运动员的升学渠道，适当放宽退役运动员升学条件，加强运动员入队和参赛的文化水平，确保运动员教育文化的关怀；3、在社会转型与保障优化方面；应加强职业培训，提升运动员职业素养。同时借鉴国外发达国家的成功经验，结合中国现有的国家运动员退役制度框架，为运动员退役体系的发展找到新的突破点。
