二十一世纪至今,全球自然灾害形势严峻,“减灾”成为关注焦点。减灾的基础是减灾教育,其开展的最佳场所是学校。学校减灾教育的开展具有多种方式,自然灾害地图依托地理学科专业基础,为减灾教育的普及提供科学的内容。挂图具有图幅面积大、色彩鲜明且内容丰富等特点,符合中学生的年龄、心理特征,对其有较大的吸引力。将自然灾害地图以挂图的形式进行呈现,且搭配其他表现形式的灾害知识,能够生动有效地将自然灾害信息进行表达并传递给学生,达到较好的减灾教育效果,为中学减灾教育提供一条途径。本论文尝试根据自行构建的中国自然灾害报刊数据库,依据相关教育心理学、制图学理论,探讨如何更好地设计编制一幅适用于中学减灾教育的地理挂图,并分析其应用价值。研究的主要步骤为:第一,明确中学减灾教育地理挂图设计和编制的目标和基本原则,分析减灾教育挂图在不同场合的应用价值;第二,构建中国自然灾害报刊数据库,为挂图的编制提供数据基础;第三,依托教育心理学、制图学理论,对灾害数据进一步分类和分级;第四,将自然灾害信息转化为地图信息并加以概括综合,选择合适的色彩、符号,并进行地图整饰。

In Twenty-first century, the situation of global natural disasters is severe, and "disaster reduction" has become focus of the world. Education is the foundation of disaster reduction, and the best place to taking it is school. There are a lot of ways to carrying out education of disaster reduction. Based on knowledge of geography, natural disasters map provides scientific content for disaster reducing education. With large area and bright color and rich in content, wall map accords with psychological characteristics of middle school student, and it is more attractive to them. Using wall map to display natural disasters is an effective way to express disaster knowledge and transfers to students, it provides a new way for the education of disaster reduction and makes education more effective.This paper tries to construct database of Chinese natural disaster through extracting disaster information from 1949-2010 newspapers. On this basis, the researcher tries to compile a wall map for education of disaster reduction in middle school according to theories about pedagogy and psychology. The research includes five steps: Firstly, make clear the target and the basic principles of compiling wall map for education of disaster reduction in middle school ,at the same time, analyze the application value of the wall map in different occasions ; Secondly, build natural disaster database for the compilation of the wall map; Thirdly, relying on theories of pedagogy and psychology, classify the data of natural disasters; Lastly, transfer the disaster information to map, and take cartographic generalization, selecting appropriate color, symbols and map decoration.
