Rachmaninoff is one of the most important composers in the Romantic period, and his Etudes of Sound Painting has been widely loved by people because of its unique musical charm. In addition to beautiful melody and rich skills, this set of music has an obvious tendency of heteronomy, among which 0P.39 No.6 is a very representative one. In this piece, the composer created two vivid musical images of "Grey Wolf" and "Little Red cap" through different playing skills, variable speed and characteristic melody, and described the story situation of the Wolf chasing Little Red Riding Hood. This paper will analyze this music from the perspective of "heteronomy", and guide practice with theory, explore the way to restore the composer's intention, and give play to the role of heteronomy in music education.
