2022版《义务教育英语课程标准》提出,课程实施要深化教学改革,探索大单元教学,加强单元内部各个课时的连贯性。初中英语大观念视角下的单元整体教学研究是近年来英语教育领域的热点话题。目前,英语大观念的研究已经在理论和实践层面上取得了一定的进展,但仍有待进一步完善和深入探讨,研究方向需要更加细致地分析不同课时教学的效果,探讨不同学生群体对该教学模式的适应程度,并发掘更多切实可行的教学方法和策略。本文尝试探索大观念视角下的单元整体教学在初中英语写作课堂中的具体运用对学生写作能力有什么影响。

本文旨在回答以下两个研究问题:(1)大观念视角下的单元整体教学能够对初中生英语写作能力产生哪些影响?(2)大观念视角下的单元整体教学将会对学生的写作态度产生什么样的影响?本研究以贵州省贵阳市某初中50名初一学生为研究对象,将大观念指导下的初中英语写作教学设计实践于课堂之中。在行动研究初期,笔者将在研究班级进行问卷调查,为本次研究的开展提供更加清晰的思路;在行动研究的过程中,将大观念视角下的单元整体教学细化成具体的操作步骤,实践于初中英语写作课堂,并在中期进行分层随机访谈,根据访谈内容和课堂观察记录不断优化、改进教学设计和研究步骤,以此来探讨大观念视角下的单元整体教学对提升初中生写作能力的实际效果。

通过学生写作测试情况及写作文本、前测与后测问卷调查、行动研究中的课堂观察记录及访谈等分析,研究结果表明大观念视角下的单元整体教学能够提升初中生英语写作能力,具体体现在以下三个方面:

1.学生写作所运用的词汇更加多样,用词量明显增加;

2.学生写作文本更具连贯性,句式更加丰富,语法结构更加准确;

3.学生写作积极性提高、写作信心增加、写作课堂更加活跃。

The English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education (2022) proposes that the curriculum implementation should deepen the teaching reform, explore the  teaching based on big ideas, strengthen the internal connection between knowledge, and promote structure.The overall teaching research from the perspective of big ideas is a hot topic in the field of English education in recent years.This paper tries to explore whether the specific application of the overall unit of teaching from the perspective of big ideas in my writing class can improve students’ writing abilities.

This paper is designed to answer the following research questions.What influence will the teaching method which is under the big ideas have on the English writing ability of students? Can the overall unit teaching from the view of big ideas change students' writing attitude or interest? This study included 50 junior high school students in Guiyang. First, the author will conduct a questionnaire survey in the research class, to provide a clearer thinking for the development of this research. During the action research, the overall unit teaching from the perspective of big ideas is refined into specific operation steps and practiced in the English writing class.

The results show that the overall unit teaching method from the view of big ides can change significantly the English writing ability of our students, and the finally results are embodied in the following three aspects:The first one is the accuracy of students' writing vocabulary and grammar is greatly improved.The first second one is Students write texts with more coherence and richer sentence patterns,and the amount of words used has increased. And the last one is students’ writing enthusiasm is improved. Their confidence increased and their writing attitude changed, and the writing classes became more active.
