本报告是关于《地道风物·贵州》一书的英译实践报告。本书为旅游文本， 从不同的方面介绍了贵州的地理环境及风俗人情，具有较强的文化色彩。本论文 采用案例分析的方法，针对翻译中的文化难点，采用适宜的方法进行翻译，并总 结经验思路。 《地道风物·贵州》的目标读者是有意了解并来贵州旅游的国人，所以在文 化表达上遵循汉语思维，而译文目标受众是海外英语读者，因此，对译者而言， 首先要充分理解贵州风俗文化，真正了解不同文化负载词的含义，再合理转化句 子风格形式，使其不仅符合英语语言特点，更要唤起读者兴趣，体现旅游文本特 色。 本报告首先分析并总结了文本特点与翻译难点，指出其中三个文化信息处理 的关键：文化词语、精简信息、风格调整，并采用补充文化背景、显化内部逻辑 等相应的方法进行翻译。旅游翻译的目的之一就是要正确处理文化信息，使文本 有效指示、引导海外游客，进而促进跨文化旅游的长足发展，因此，笔者首先采 用适当的方法保留文化风格，同时也注重传递源语信息；其次，简化语言和重复 信息并整合相同内容，化繁为简，避免句式杂糅。最后，针对语言表达习惯冲突 问题，本报告研究了显化内部逻辑和调整句式风格两种策略，大大提升读者对原 文的接受度，并使之合乎目的语读者的阅读习惯。

After translating the book GENUINE GUIZHOU, the writer finished the report. It is a tourism text with special cultural background introducing the geographical environment and customs of Guizhou from different aspects. This report adopts the method of case study to summarize the translation ideas in response to the cultural difficulties in translation. The expression of original text is Chinese style, which follows Chinese thinking, while English readers have different ideas from the author in terms of cultural background and language organization. Thus, to fully understand the customs and culture of Guizhou, the special words is important, and then reasonably transform the sentence style form so that it not only conforms to the English language characteristics, but also arouses the readers’ interest, which reflects the characteristics of the tourism text. One of the purposes of tourism translation is to correctly express cultural information so that the text can effectively instruct and guide overseas tourists, which advances tourism development. First of all, in terms of supplementing the meaning of vacant cultural words, a combination of direct translation, paraphrasing and annotation and adding cultural background will be used to preserve the main point and style of the source language. And the redundant information has been deleted so that the statement gains in clarity and force. Finally, to address the problem of conflicting language expression, this report investigates two strategies, namely, making the internal logic explicit and adjusting the sentence style, to make the translation conform to the reading habits of the target language and improve the acceptability of the translation.
