插画作为视觉表现力较高的艺术形式，应用于现代各个领域。我国插画大多在电影、海报、动漫、游戏、广告等方向有所发展和应用，与其他插画艺术发展较为盛行的国家相比视觉与主题表现形式缺乏创新性。随着视觉艺术与视觉需求的变化，插画设计在满足大众对视觉符号的需求心理与依赖心理的同时，如何创作出具有现实意义的作品是创作者需要思考与探索的问题。

表现主义通过不同的艺术表现形式来反映现实问题与个人化的情绪表达，其主题表现具有隐喻性特征。因此，基于表现主义手法的插画设计被赋予表现主义思想特征与艺术特征，具有较高的现实意义与研究价值。而丸尾末广作为日本较为另类的插画师之一，其作品在强有力的视觉刺激背后呈现出对社会、人性、历史与战争的批判和揭露，视觉元素与作品内容中具有典型的表现主义手法运用。笔者通过不同艺术家插画作品进行分析和资料总结，从视觉表现和视觉叙事两方面入手，深入分析丸尾末广插画作品的视觉表达和主题内涵，并结合其他艺术家作品进行全面具体探讨。在视觉表现层面，运用扭曲夸张与对比象征的表现主义手法将现实世界再现，通过狂欢式的表现方式传达创作者个人主观情感，同时多层次元素符号与复古元素对画面进行装饰，营造既传统又流行的画面氛围。在视觉叙事层面，通过对历史战争与真实事件的再创作，将对现实世界的批判与黑暗面的揭露全部展现给大众，并将个人独特的主观情感融入其中；隐喻性元素在插画中的运用使其摆脱以单纯感官刺激为主的视觉画面，增加作品内容的丰富性与耐读性。最后通过总结表现主义手法在插画设计中的运用与创新，笔者将理论付诸于毕业设计的实践与应用当中。希望该篇论文可为我国表现主义手法与插画设计的发展创新提供理论依据和实践意义，并为动画、广告、电影、游戏等相关领域提供创意与设计思维。

At the same time, how to create works with practical significance is a problem that creators need to think and explore.

Expressionism reflects realistic problems and personal emotional expression through different forms of artistic expression, and its theme expression has metaphorical characteristics. Therefore, illustration design based on expressionist techniques is endowed with expressionist ideological and artistic characteristics, and has high practical significance and research value. As one of Japan’s more alternative illustrators, Maruo Suehiro’s works show a critique and exposure of society, human nature, history and war behind strong visual stimuli. The visual elements and content of the works have typical expressionist techniques. use. The author analyzes and summarizes the data through the illustration works of different artists, starting from both visual performance and visual narrative, in-depth analysis of the visual expression and thematic connotation of Maruo Suehiro’s illustrations, and conducts a comprehensive and specific discussion in conjunction with the works of other artists. At the level of visual expression, the expressionist technique of distorted exaggeration and contrasting symbols is used to reproduce the real world, and the creator’s personal subjective emotions are conveyed through carnival-like expressions. At the same time, multi-level element symbols and retro elements decorate the picture, creating both traditional and Popular picture atmosphere. At the visual narrative level, through the re-creation of historical wars and real events, all the criticism of the real world and the exposure of the dark side are revealed to the public, and personal unique subjective emotions are incorporated into it; the use of metaphorical elements in illustrations Make it get rid of the visual images dominated by pure sensory stimulation, and increase the richness and endurance of the content of the work. Finally, by summarizing the application and innovation of expressionist techniques in illustration design, the author puts the theory into practice and application of graduation design. It is hoped that this paper can provide theoretical basis and practical significance for the development and innovation of expressionist techniques and illustration design in my country, and provide creativity and design thinking for animation, advertising, film, games and other related fields.
