情感教学策略是指教师为了实现教学目标,同时满足学生在学习过程中产生的情感需求,而在教学实施过程中对教学内容、教学组织和教学评价进行情感处理的计策和谋略以及相关的方法、形式。近几年来,由于人们逐渐认识到情感因素与外语教学有着密不可分的联系,因此英语教师在教学过程中对于情感教学策略的运用也就越来越受到人们的关注。
本文以我国小学英语教学阶段教师对情感教学策略的运用为主题,对近十年来有关小学英语情感教学的研究进行了文献分析,并通过问卷和访谈的方式了解了北京市朝阳区垂杨柳中心小学的实际英语教学情况。通过对学生的问卷调查,我们发现:小学生们普遍认为教师有运用情感教学策略的必要,而当前教师运用情感教学策略的现状与他们的需求却相去甚远,他们渴望拥有轻松愉快的课堂氛围,希望能与教师多一点情感上的沟通与交流。通过与教师面对面的访谈,我们看到了目前小学英语教师对情感因素重要性的认识仍不够深刻,对情感因素的作用和情感态度目标还存在片面的理解,对情感教学策略的实际运用也并不理想等问题。鉴于此,小学英语教师有必要从以下几方面来改进教学:第一,深入了解小学英语情感教学目标;第二,通过多样的方式充分展示教学内容中的情感因素;第三,积极营造自由、轻松、愉悦的课堂气氛。

Affective teaching strategy means a series of methods in which teacher makes full use of active functions of affective factors while considering cognitive factors in order to fulfill the teaching aims and meet students’ needs on affect. In recent years, with the deepening research of linguistics, people come to realize that affective factors are closely related to the foreign language teaching. Therefore, more and more people have focused on the appliance of affective teaching strategy during the process of English teaching.
This thesis is mainly about the appliance of the strategies of affective teaching of English in primary schools in China. The author analyzes relative researches on affective teaching of English within last ten years, and makes her own survey on Chui Yangliu Primary School in Chao Yang District of Beijing by sending questionnaires and interviewing. According to the student questionnaires, it is found that most pupils consider the use of affective teaching strategy is necessary. They desire relaxed and pleasant class atmosphere and wish to have more affective communications with English teachers. However, the reality is far away from their hope. By interviewing English teachers, we find that the significance of making good use of affective factors during the English teaching still needs to be emphasized. In addition, some English teachers do not have a comprehensive understanding of the effect and the aims of affective teaching. Besides, there are a lot of problems when teachers use affective teaching strategy during the classes. On the basis, the author gives the English teachers some suggestions in order to improve their teaching. First, English teachers should know better about the aims of affective teaching. Second, they should try to display the affect factors in the contexts to students by various means. Last but not least, they should build up relaxed, free and pleasant atmosphere during their English teaching.
