The Qing dynasty's commentary on Yang Ningshi's calligraphy covers three levels: ink and brush technique, aesthetic style, and knowledge of the world. The Qing dynasty's commentary not only explored the bookishness of Yang Ningshi's calligraphy, but also revealed a calligraphic concept that emphasized the ancient and the curious. The calligraphy of Yang Ningshi in the Qing dynasty reflects the dynamic process of the evolution of the concept of calligraphy in the Qing dynasty. |
