随着人们对儿童教育的愈加重视，儿童科普读本越来越多地出现在读者面前，其中，翻译自国外的儿童科普读本极受欢迎。然而，由于两种文化间的差异及儿童科普读本不同于其他读本的特色，在语言转换过程中常常会出现信息的遗失。适当的翻译方法在翻译实践中发挥着极为重要的作用。译者可以结合他人与自己的翻译经验总结相应的翻译方法，以应对翻译过程中的问题。本文是一篇翻译实践报告，结合大量实例探讨儿童科普读本中双关的相关翻译方法。翻译实践的对象为海燕出版社的《孤独星球：你所不知道的世界——英国》一书。笔者先以案例展示的方法总结中外双关的类型；然后采取案例分析的方法，选取分析大量经典的双关翻译案例，并将其分类，探讨在双关翻译过程中可以采取的方法。同时，选取《孤独星球：你所不知道的世界——英国》一书中的双关案例，在传达原文趣味性、双关形式与含义的方面，运用归纳与梳理的方法，探讨已总结的方法的可行性。在儿童科普读本中，双关的翻译方法大致有四种，即直接对应双关译法、替换对应双关译法、侧重双关译法和解释双关译法。此外，还需在翻译过程中注意文字的童趣性与科学性，力求使用简练而又科学的语言翻译原文，以符合儿童的阅读特点。笔者由衷希望，本文所总结的翻译方法对译者在翻译双关的过程中有所助益。

As people attach more importance to children‘s education, scientific books for children are published more and more, wherein the books translated from foreign countries are most popular. However, because of the differences between two cultures and the characteristics of scientific books for children, some information will disappear after translation, and the translation of paronomasia is the most difficult. Strategies of translation are helpful for translation.This paper mainly explores how to translate paronomasia of scientific books for children, taking Great Britain: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know as an example. In the first part, types of paronomasia in Chinese and English are demonstrated. In the second part, several classic translations of paronomasia are analyzed to discuss the strategies. In the third part, sentences using paronomasia in the Great Britain: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know are shown to verify feasibility of the strategies. Finally, the last part shows conclusion. Hopefully, strategies in this paper will give some suggestions for translators.
