国际化及其在大学的实施模式——国际合作与交流是当前世界高等教育的一个普遍趋势。走国际化的道路是中国大学，特别是研究型大学发展的必由之路。一国研究型大学的形成与发展既是该国政治经济与社会发展及教育自身发展的产物,同时也是国际借鉴与交流合作的产物。香港中文大学是香港高校中发展比较迅速且国际影响力日益提高的一所世界知名院校。她从成立的第一天起，就确立了自己的办学宗旨——促进中西学术文化传统的交流与融合。因此，本文从国际化的视角探讨了香港中文大学的成功之道，借此希望对内地研究型大学的发展提供一些启迪和借鉴。本研究分为四个部分：第一部分介绍了本文的研究背景、研究思路、研究方法和研究意义，对核心概念进行了界定。第二部分是对高等教育国际化的理论研究，通过对国内外现有研究成果进行的总结和归纳，从各个方面对国际化的理论进行了疏理。第三部分是对香港中文大学国际化发展的实践研究。介绍了中文大学的国际化考察的几个具体要素，从中得出了中大发展的成功之路。第四部分在借鉴香港中文大学国际化成功经验的基础上，得出了对我国大学，尤其是内地研究型大学国际化发展的对策和建议。

Internationalization and it is in the implement mode of university-international cooperation and exchanges are widespread trends of current world higher education. The road which walks to internationalize is a Chinese university, especially the development of Research University. The formation and development for a research university in a country are resulted from the politics, economy and society, as well as the development of internalization and cooperation. The Chinese university of Hong Kong is a more-quickly developing university among high school in Hong Kong and the international influence is increasingly elevated of a well-known college in world. She established her aim from the first day, that is, “to combine tradition with modernity, to bring together China and the West”. Therefore, this paper devote to the avenue to success of Chinese university in Hong Kong from the angle of view of internationalization, hoping can contribute to the development and success for the research university in mainland of China by the experience and lessons of CUHK. There are four main parts of the paper:Part 1 is the exordium. The author introduces the background; way of thinking, method and means for the research. Also, the author defines some core definitions for the internationalization. Part 2 is the theory illustration of internationalization of higher education. By summary and classification of the theories at home and abroad, we can further understand the internationalization in a theoretical view. Part 3 is the practical analysis of the internalization of CUHK. The author classifies the main factor of cooperation and exchange for internalization and gives some key points of their practical experience. Part 4 is based on the above parts. The author gives some suggestions for the road of internalization of the research university in mainland of china
