大脑生理活动的信号可以通过脑电图(EEG)和功能磁共振(fMRI)无损伤的获取,近年来,将二者结合起来以获得高时空分辨率的EEG-fMRI联合分析方法应运而生。目前实现EEG和fMRI两种不同模态数据融合的方法主要有3种:两类数据融合建模;EEG约束fMRI分析以及fMRI约束EEG分析,其中EEG约束fMRI分析可以利用广义线性模型获得与EEG信号相关的fMRI的空间信息。但是已有研究比较多的集中于不同ERP成分的特征所对应的空间分布,而对于特定ERP成分的特征差异所引起的空间分布研究较少。随着EEG-fMRI联合分析方法的发展,EEG-fMRI联合分析系统也在逐渐发展,EEGLAB、Analyzer以及SPM等常用软件可以提供强大的EEG或fMRI数据处理功能。然而,能够实现2类数据联合处理的软件并不多见,特别是实时联合处理软件。尽管基于广义线性模型的实时fMRI分析已经实现,但是EEG-fMRI联合分析的实时实现依然是一个难点和热点问题,因此搭建实时EEG-fMRI分析平台对于丰富医学研究手段,促进认知研究前进有着重大意义。本文采用基于广义线性模型的EEG-fMRI联合分析方法,首先研究不同类型的视觉刺激诱发的ERP特征与fMRI激活之间的关系,利用4类物体视觉图片刺激,分析不同类别视觉图片诱发的平均ERP的幅度特征差异所对应的空间激活,通过与单次刺激诱发的ERP幅度特征所对应的空间激活对比,探索与视觉图片ERP特征相关的fMRI激活区域。在上述数据分析基础上,搭建了具有自主知识产权的EEG-fMRI实时分析系统,系统包括参数设置、实时处理、以及分步结果查看等重要模块,不但可以实现基于广义线性模型的EEG-fMRI实时联合分析,而且可以查看EEG特征提取的分步结果,从而保证分析结果的准确性。系统功能和运行时间的测试结果表明,该系统达到了预期的目标。

Signal of the brain physiological activities can be achieved noninvasively with EEG and fMRI. In recent years, EEG-fMRI method was developed for getting both high temporal resolution and spatial resolution. Currently there are three ways for the fusion of different modalities of data, through fusion, fMRI constrained EEG and EEG constrained fMRI. The method of EEG constrained fMRI can catch fMRI activation correlated with EEG signal using general linear model. The relevant researches mostly concentrate on the relationship between different stimuli and different components of ERP. But researches for relationship between different stimuli and the same component of ERP are rare. At the same time, EEG and fMRI analysis system are gradually developed, EEGLAB, Analyzer and SPM software can provide powerful EEG and fMRI data processing ability. But software that can process combined EEG-fMRI data is not so much, especially for real-time software. Although real time fMRI with general linear model has been achieved,Real-time analysis of EEG-fMRI is still a difficult point and hotspot issues. Thus to build real-time EEG-fMRI analysis platform is of great significance for medical research and cognitive research.In this paper, we use the method of EEG constraint fMRI to explore the relationship between EEG feature caused by different stimuli and fMRI activation. Based on 4 types of visual stimuli, we first analyze fMRI activation caused by average ERP’s amplitude belonged to different types of visual picture stimuli to explore their spatial activation, then we compare the result with the fMRI activation related to single trial ERP caused by face picture to explore the fMRI activation correlated with picture stimuli. Upon our analysis result we then built EEG-fMRI analysis system with independent intellectual property rights. Our system consists of several parts include parameter input, real-time processing and result view. It can not only do the combined analysis of GLM with EEG constraints based on fMRI but also can view the EEG post processing results so as to ensure the accuracy of analysis results. Test for function and runtime for system certificates our system has reached our expectation.
