随着人类在南极的活动日益增多,南极大陆上已留下众多人类的“行为痕迹”,这些痕迹相对于广袤的南极大陆来讲很小,但可以记录人类在南极的探索中的发展,同时还可以在一定程度上反映南极气候环境的变化。遥感是记录人类在南极“行为痕迹”的重要手段,实现这些微弱信息的自动提取,一方面可突破遥感弱信息提取的技术难关,另一方面可实现对南极人类活动信息快速追踪和记录,具有技术价值和应用价值。本文分析了内陆考察车辙印的Landsat8卫星影像特征,通过对比车辙印与周围背景雪面像元值的差异来分析其内在机理,并依靠目视解译以及统计量分析,有效的选取进行车辙印提取的最佳波段。在车辙印自动提取过程中分别运用影像增强、动感模糊、canny边缘提取算子、膨胀腐蚀算法等相关技术,实现了一种对车辙印在不同环境下的高精度提取算法。利用自动提取算法对中国第31、33次南极考察期间的内陆考察车辙印进行自动提取,并评估提取结果,同时结合雪积累率、雪粒径大小、冰流速以及地形数据分别分析了气候、冰雪物理特性、冰川动力特征和地形特征对车辙印识别的影响。

With the increasing number of human activities in Antarctica, many human “behavioral traces” have remained on the Antarctic continent. These traces are small relative to the vast Antarctic continent, but they can record the development of human exploration in Antarctica. At the same time, it can also reflect the changes in climate and environment in Antarctica to some extent. Remote sensing is an important means of recording human behavior traces in Antarctica. Realizing the automatic extraction of these weak information can, on the one hand, break through the technical difficulties of remote sensing weak information extraction, and on the other hand can achieve rapid tracking and recording of Antarctic human activity. In this paper, Landsat8 satellite imagery is used to analyze the image features of the Chinese Antarctic inland rut prints. By comparing the differences of the pixel value between the rut prints and the environmental background to analyze its internal mechanism, and with the help of the visual interpretation and statistics analysis, the best band of extraction of rut prints can be chosen. The method of the image enhancement, motion blur, canny edge detection operator and corrosion expansion algorithm are used in the process of rut seal extraction to complete the rut of high-precision extraction algorithm in different environment. Then the rut prints of the China 31st and 33rd Antarctic expedition were extracted by automatic extraction algorithm. and the extraction results were evaluated. The influence of climate, ice and snow physical characteristics, glacier dynamic characteristics and topographic features on rutting identification is analyzed combining snow accumulation rate, snow particle size, ice flow velocity, and topographic data.
