本文是以《中国国际电视台（CGTN）欧洲分台人力资源政策》为基础的翻译项目报告，主要通过案例分析探讨具有社会制度性质的文化负载词的汉译策略及方法，并分析每种译法所适用的文化负载词特点。 CGTN欧洲分台地处伦敦，因此翻译项目包含较多反映当地社会制度文化的词汇，表达方式或所指内容承载一定的文化背景，不为中文读者所熟悉，为译者工作造成较大障碍。在对比分析平行文本、文献资料的基础上，译者通过项目案例分析，总结出三种针对具有社会制度性质的文化负载词汉译策略，分别为：直译加注法、定义补充法、背景释义法。其中，直译加注法适用于无法用简短的词组或短小句子表达出实际含义的文化负载词，将其做直译处理，同时添加注释；定义补充法适用于字面表达只能展现部分含义的文化负载词，在译文中补充出缺失的定义，以展现源语完整含义；背景释义法可用于翻译无法直译且字面上看起来令人费解的文化负载词，便从其背景内容中抽丝剥茧，总结成短小的表达用以替换源语表达。 本翻译报告以具体实践为例，总结翻译过程中遇到的难点问题，以期能够为文化负载词的汉译提供一定的借鉴意义和参考价值。

Based on the translation of HR Policy Document, CGTN Europe, the report revolves around solutions to English-to-Chinese translation of culture-loaded words embodying social norms, and lays out features of their respective targeted expressions. And case analysis is conducted in this paper. Communicating cultures of British social norms that are unfamiliar to Chinese readers as China Global Television Network (CGTN) Europe is located in London, many expressions in the document are characterized as being culture-loaded in terms of either wording or denotation and are well worth tremendous consideration and polishing in translating. On the basis of parallel texts and other reference resources, this report elaborates on three of the solutions, namely literal translation with explanatory notes, wording supplementing and background as translation. To be specific, literal translation with explanatory notes fits in with culture-loaded words that are not able to be translated into brief expressions; wording supplementing is for those without presenting complete meaning in wording that has to be supplemented when translating; and background as translation applies to expressions which make no sense in their way of wording for targeted readers so that a translator is expected to make brief expressions out of their background. In the form of a report of difficulties facing the author in translating the policy, this paper is hoped to offer some valuable information in culture-loaded words translation.
