This study is related to delays in civil litigation in Pakistan, and civil delays in Pakistan are common thing. Presently, many causes are blamable to delay and prolonging in legal framework which are happening in the court. This study is a struggle for recognizing the reasons which are responsible regarding delays in litigation which is related to civil matters in inferior Pakistani’s courts. The data was collected by using qualitative and quantitative methods and different research equipment and techniques. 35 participants have taken part in this research/study by using purposive sampling. In this study participants divided into four classes which included Judges, lawyers, Litigants and Common educated people. It has been focused particularly on the District bar association Lahore, which is the biggest bar of Asia. The study establish out that negligence of officials, corruption, heavy backlog of cases, lengthy procedure, non-availability of plaintiffs and defendants, transfer of judges, insufficient of judges are a few reasons which creating further problems in the way to speedy justice among masses regarding civil litigation. And the other hands judiciary’s role is weakened and unproductive especially in lower civil courts of Pakistan.
