“WOMAN WORLD” was one of women's publication published in the occupied area of Tianjin in the late 1930s. This paper mainly studies three problems. First, the founded purpose of this publication. Second, what does the pictorial publish in order to realize the political interests it represents. Third, by analyzing the text code of this publication, the study explored what kind of media frame and editorial strategy did it adopt to construct the expression of relevant women's issues. Finally, the characteristics of the Japanese pseudo-publication represented by WOMAN WORLD to the colonial propaganda of the people in the occupied areas of North China were analyzed. According to this study, as a women's publication, WOMAN WORLD was founded for the direct purpose of propagating to women the guiding ideology of Japanese Puppet Regime New Civilian Society—Xinmin doctrine. And it advocated the importance of family stability to social stability and tried to make women maintain the stability of their colonial rule by being "good wives and good mothers". The interest and entertainment of women's pictorial is conducive to attracting more readers besides women to read. This is the deep purpose of WOMAN WORLD founded, which is to expand the scope of its colonial propaganda. About the means used to promote the colonial culture of women, in terms of content, the first thing is to attract female readers to accept the newspaper, while subtly undermining the national identity of Chinese women. In terms of editing strategy, first of all, by combining the "virtue inherent in Chinese women" with the "good wife and good mother" thought from Japan, women are required to return to their families to take care of their husbands and children, and to be tame ruled under the Japanese puppet rule. Secondly, WOMAN WORLD's requirements for women are also the product of colonial propaganda using masculine consciousness to imagine and standardize women in order to make their propaganda in line with the inherent psychology of the people in the occupied areas; Third, by deconstructing the achievements of the women's movement and opposing women's pursuit of liberation, the shackles against Chinese women have been deepened. Finally, this paper considers that WOMAN WORLD has the characteristics of aggressiveness, inductiveness, concealment and confusion when propagating to women in the occupied areas.
