Since the 1990s, the loanwords from Korean have entered into the view of the Chinese through the Korean Wave (Hallyu) culture like Korean TV programs and K-pop music. Although the time of the loanwords from Korean in modern Chinese is not long, these words have influenced the language use of Chinese people, especially the youth. This article will clearly define the concept of Korean Loanwords in Modern Chinese, and analyzes the specific categories of loanwords from Korean. Therefore, this article makes a deep investigation and exploration of the main body of the use of these words, the form of communication and linguistic features, to grasp the impact on the development of modern Chinese and trends. In addition, loanwords from Korean can be a new perspective in the study of loanwords, which make us better realize the transmission characteristics under the background of information age of loanwords.
