本文以“弃儿意识”为视角观照萧红的小说创作，分析了小说文本中所呈现的弃儿形象，从而对萧红的小说给出了一种全新的诠释。全文主要分为三个部分：第一部分将萧红小说中的弃儿形象进行归类。按照弃儿被弃的主要原因及其特征，弃儿形象主要分为三类即被父母抛弃的弃儿形象、失去父母的弃儿形象和缺乏父母关爱的弃儿形象；第二部分主要论述了萧红小说中弃儿的生命体验。从民族危亡的时代大背景和萧红个人的人生经历出发探讨文本内外的弃儿的生命体验；第三部分论述了弃儿意识影响下的人性关怀和审美形式。萧红的弃儿意识呈现在文本中，不仅仅表现为题材和主题的选择，而且还表现在审美形式的创造，儿童视角叙述方式和碎片化、散文化的行文方式更是成为了萧红标签式的创作特征。
