数字技术正在改变着世界出版产业的发展模式。传统的单一纸质化出版的模式已经不能满足医学学术期刊发展的需要。在国家政策的推动下,我国医学学术期刊纷纷开始尝试数字化出版,以期不断发展后最终实现全媒体出版。目前,我国多数医学学术期刊在数字化出版的道路上仅仅踏出了第一步。如何在全媒体时代找到适合自己的出版道路,提高期刊的影响力和经济水平是实践领域迫切需要解决的问题。在全媒体时代,医学期刊可以借鉴中华医学会系列期刊的经验,探索实施三维立体发展战略,即纸质媒体出版、网络媒体出版、延伸服务三线并举,协同发展;通过定制出版、复合经营、整合营销来实现盈利。具体表现在:1. 守正出新,增强内容核心竞争力:对于纸刊出版,要倾力品牌建设,打造精品期刊;与时俱进,实现期刊内容创新;以学术为导向,引导期刊经营;同时增强服务意识,探索个性化出版。2.开辟疆土,打造网络出版平台:与信息服务商独家合作,强强联合;实现编辑流程数字化;发展开放存取出版模式,提高杂志影响力;打造“展示-服务-互动”一体化的特色网络社区平台。3.借力新媒体,提供多种延伸服务:同电信服务商合作开展手机等移动媒体出版,重视微博微信等带来的“微出版”。应用二维码实现纸刊、网站和微媒介的立体化传播。中国医学学术期刊在发展全媒体业务时要注意:决策者必须思想转型,积极抢占数字市场;在任何时候都要坚定“内容为王”,媒介是为内容创新服务的。要增强服务意识,重视受众的个性化需求。在技术水平有限的时候,与技术服务商合作,建立互惠互赢的数字出版模式,走集约化、集团化的发展道路,对产业链的各个部分进行整合,加快全媒体出版的发展步伐。目前,国外科技期刊的数字化建设已经进入了相对成熟的发展阶段,国内医学期刊应该学习国际出版集团数字化发展经验,及时抓住我国当前文化体制改革的历史机遇,借力新媒体,努力探索新的出版和盈利模式,走出一条适合自身特色的全媒体发展之路!

Digital technique is changing the development mode of the world’s publication industry. With the promotion of national policy, medical academic journals are changing from traditional publishing to federated media publishing.It is the general trend for the medical academic journals to be published by the federated media. Most of our national medical academic journals are young in digital publishing. How to find out an appropriate way of digital publishing, improve the influence and economic level of the journals are pressing problems in the practice field. This research takes Chinese Medical Association Journal Series for example, and offers some thoughts and suggestions on the development of medical academic journals in the age of federated media publishing.The country’s vigorously implementation of the digital publishing strategy, highly development of digital publishing industry and the changing of citizen’s reading habit are the external reasons of the development of our national medical journals’ federated media publishing. And the internal reason is that the federated media publishing is the pressing need of our national medical journals’ development. It is the only way for the journals to face the drastic market competition. In the age of federated media, medical academic journals can learn Chinese Medical Association Journal Series experience ,carry out 3D development strategy which means the cooperative development of paper media publishing, network media publishing and extending services; and realizes its profit through custom publishing, compound management and integrated marketing. The strategy mainly presents in the following aspects:1. Create new staffs while insisting on the base, improve the key competitiveness of the content: making efforts on brand building for the paper publishing and creating the high-quality journals; keeping pace with the times to realize the creation of journal content; guiding the journal management according to the academic and meanwhile, improving service awareness, exploring the personalized publishing. 2. Develop territories and build up a network publishing platform: having exclusive cooperation and powerful combination with information content providers; realizing the digitization of editing process; developing publishing mode of open access to improve the influence of the journals; building an integrative, featured network community platform of “presentation-service-interaction”. 3. Provide extended services by new media: developing mobile media publishing such as mobile phone with telecom service providers and paying attention to Microblog or Wechat’s “Micro-publishing”; making good use of two-dimension code to realize the three-dimensional dissemination of paper journals, websites and micro mediums. When developing federated media business, the medical academic journals should pay attention to the following aspects: the decision makers should change their minds to take over the digital market actively; insist on the idea of “ content is the king” at any times, the media serve for the content creation. Enhance service awareness, pay attention to the readers’ individual needs. Cooperate with the technology service providers when technology level is limited and build up the win-win digital publishing mode, insist on the intensification and collectivize development, integrate every section of the industry chain and quicken the development of federated media publishing business.Currently, the digital construction in foreign countries has entered a relatively mature developing stage. The national medical journals should learn the digital development experiences from international publishing groups, catch the historical opportunities of our national cultural system reform, effort to explore new publishing and profit model by new media, explore a federated media development road that is suitable for our own characteristics!
