《儿女英雄传》是清末口语体章回小说，是研究该时期语言的重要资料。本文取之为语料，对其中的能性述补结构进行穷尽式地归纳、分析和描写。全文分为五章。 第一章是绪论部分，对能性述补结构进行定义、对研究现状进行综述、剖析了选题缘由、介绍了语料的来源以及本文所采用的研究方法。 第二章至第五章是文章的主体部分。第二章对《儿女英雄传》中能性述补结构的类型进行了全面地描述、归纳。对每种类型能性述补结构中的述语从音节方面、性质方面进行考察；对补语主要从补语的性质、每种性质的补语出现的次数进行考察；对宾语则从宾语是词或词组的角度进行考察。第三、四章对能性述补结构中述语、补语的语义特征进行了分析，并分析了补语的语义指向。第五章能性述补结构的使用语境及相关熟语式，主要介绍了能性述补结构的使用语境，列举了《儿女英雄传》中出现的熟语化的能性述补结构并分析了其特点以及判定标准。 以上分析，有助于我们了解能性述补结构发展到清末的状况，了解近代汉语与现代汉语的能性述补结构的发展变化以及内在联系。

‘Daughters and Sons’ is an oral zhanghui novel in late Qing Dynasty. The language in it is approximately spoken language, which is important material for the language study of that period. We entirely described and analyzed the Potential Construction. There are five chapters in this paper. Chapter 1 is a brief introduction. It presents the chosen, documents, the studying bearings and the research findings of potential construction. The methods and criteria on how to hecategorize the forms of potential construction. Chapter 2 to 5 are the main parts of the paper.Chapter 2 entirely described and analyzed the potential construction of ‘Daughters and Sons’.We make an investigation on each type of adnex of potential construction by analyzing the number of syllables and the feature. We make an investigation on the feature of complement and the numbers of each type. We make an investigation on the the feature of object and the meaning of each type. Chapter 3 and 4 analyze semantic feature of adnex and semantic point of potential complement. Chapter 5 is the context of potential construction and idiotms of potential construction. We introduce the context of potential construction. We enumerate all idioms of potential construction of ‘Daughters and Sons’ and analyze their features. By analyzing potential construction of ‘Daughters and Sons’, we will know more about the development of potential construction in late Qing Dynasty.and potential construction of latest generation Chinese with modern Chinese.
