乡村教育是乡村社会,乃至整个中国社会发展的重中之重。乡村教育的健康与否,不仅关系到乡村孩子,乡村社会的未来,更关系到整个当代中国社会的稳定、健康的发展。乡村教师是决定乡村教育健康与否的重要因素。乡村教师的社会形象一方面反映乡村教师的角色、社会地位,更重要的是折射出乡村教育在村民眼中的质量和价值,窥见乡村社会的变化、发展对教育、教师需求的变化。
本研究采用访谈法,访谈江西某村不同年龄村民对乡村教师形象的看法,了解不同代际村民眼中乡村教师形象及其演变,从而为进一步探究乡村教师角色、地位变化,以及乡村社会对乡村教育的变化了的需求奠定基础。研究发现,乡村教师形象经历了一个从“生活在村里的文化人”到“逐渐脱离农业和农村的文化人”到“以教书为主业、商业为副业的文化人”的发展轨迹。并且随着城镇化的进展,乡村教师脱离乡村环境成为当前乡村教育发展的重要表现。

Rural education is the top priority of rural society, and even the development of Chinese society as a whole. The health of rural education is not only related to the rural children and the future of rural society, but also related to the stability of the contemporary Chinese society and healthy development. The social image of rural teachers on the one hand reflects the role of rural teachers, social status, more importantly, reflects the quality and value of rural education in the eyes of the villagers, so it can glimpse changes in rural society, the development of education and the change of teacher needs.
This study uses interviews to interview the villagers' views on the image of rural teachers in different villages in Jiangxi Province, and understand the image and evolution of rural teachers in the eyes of different intergenerational villagers, so as to further explore the role of rural teachers, the change of status, and the rural society of the changing needs laid the foundation. The study found that the image of rural teachers has experienced a development from the "cultural people living in the village" to "cultural people who are gradually divorced from agriculture and rural culture" to "teaching as the main industry, business as a sideline." And with the progress of urbanization, rural teachers from the rural environment has become an important manifestation of the current rural education development.
