This study was conducted through a telephone survey of 175 parents with children under the age of 5-15 years of elementary and middle school students in Korea. It also interviewed five parents of Korean elementary school students participating in video English classes. It was conducted to analyze satisfaction and academic achievement through video English classes. The contents of the survey were conducted on the learner's personal information, the number of classes, time, reasons for selection, satisfaction, grade improvement, English skills, and pros and cons. 1. As a result of analyzing satisfaction through video English classes, the biggest reason is the confidence gained through English conversation and being able to communicate freely. There are many other reasons such as teachers teaching well and improving school grades. 2. As a result of analyzing learning efficiency through video English classes, Koreans have difficulty communicating naturally in English with foreigners because they learned grammar and words mainly for the Korean SAT. The learning effect accordingly appears to be effective in the fields of listening, reading, speaking, and pronunciation, excluding writing and reading comprehension. |
