教科书是教学过程中的重要工具,影响教学过程中的重要方面。为了解中美教材的差异,本研究选择管绍荣、管靖主编的《基础物理学》(下册)和哈佛大学教授Eric Mazur主编的《Principles of Physics》进行比较。首先从概念或规律的引入、概念或规律的解释、例题及习题设置、物理学史的引用和实验的引用这五个方面对磁学体系中的重要概念和规律展开比较,发现国外教材更注重对知识内涵的理解,更注重科学方法教育,国内教材则简单明了,注重数学推导,注重物理学史及实验的介绍。然后基于学生存在的迷思概念,制定量化比较的标准,用该标准进行比对后发现,美国教材更针对于学生的学习困难,有利于学生迷思概念的转变。通过该研究,为大学物理磁学教材的选取提供参考,为解决学生的学习困难提供帮助和指导。
外文摘要:
Textbooks are a very important tool in the teaching–learning process and they always have an important affect on the process. In order to understand the differences between Chinese and American textbooks, this study chooses Fundamental Physics(Ⅱ) edited by Liang Shaorong and Guan Jing and Principles of Physics edited by Eric Mazur who is a professor at Harvard University for comparison. Firstly, this paper will compare differences of the introduction of concepts and rules in Magnetic system between the two kinds of textbooks from following five aspects: the introduction of concept or rules, the interpretation of concept or rules, the set of examples and exercises, the reference to the history of Physics and the reference to the experiments. And we find that the foreign textbook pays more attention to the understanding of the connotation of knowledge, and put more emphasis on scientific methods of education, whereas the Chinese textbook is simple and clear, and emphasizes mathematical derivation and the introduction of the history of physics and experiment. Secondly, we set the standard for quantitative comparison based on the existing “Misconceptions” of students. We find the American textbook more targeted for students' learning difficulties, and conducive to the change of students "misconceptions". This research will provide reference for the selection of college physics magnetic materials, and provide help and guidance to solve the students' learning difficulties.
